Just love Rebus
I knew this was a play and was reluctant to buy,But as I have all the Rebus books and having read several times, I still love them lol I purchased.I didn't think it would be as good as the novels and this is true.It can be easily read in one sittingBut was entertainingI am avidly awaiting House of lies🤣🤣🤣Which I'm hoping will last me a little longerI am not disappointed about long shadows as I didn't expect it to be as good

Great read, cannot wait to see it on stage
This is the written form of the first ever Rebus play. Interesting extras including a conversation between the two writers. It's beautifully paced, elegiac, full of ghosts...with a great twist. I can't wait to see it brought to life on stage.

A book of dialogue definitely not Shakespeare!
I purchased this book expecting another great Rebus novel. This book is not worth the money. Where is the background? Where is the Edinburgh? I read Ian Rankin's books for the entire experience. If my suspicions are correct - this was an experiment. If so, please don't publish another like this under the name Ian Rankin!Fool me once, shame on you......

What a joy to meet Rebus again!
Everything Ian Rankin ever writes is brilliant and this is no exception! A great read.
