Very Good Knives! Just Be Gentle
I've now had these for a month and wow, they are sharp! You feel quite invincible with them at first but then it happens....a chip! Mind you, I had been accidently cutting into glass plates with this sucker. It was my error to have been so forceful with it but nevertheless, it did chip so I can't give it that super-strong-factor extra star.Bottom line, buy the knives (really great price anyhow) but take care of them. I might post an update later in which I will increase it to a 5-Star if I have no further issues.

A no-brainer: These knives are terrific
I was beyond pleasantly surprised by these knives -- I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I now consider this set to be the favorite in my kitchen -- and I have a lot of different kinds of knives.I have knives with blades made of:Carbon steelStainless steelHigh carbon stain free steel (nice, but incredibly expensive!)But that now I have had a chance to test and use these knives made of ceramic, I’m totally sold on this class of cutlery. They have extremely hard blades; and come close to diamonds in terms of surface hardness.Get this: Bone has a hardness (on Rockwell HRC scale) of about 3.5, steel knives about 6.5 and ceramic knives about 9.5. Diamonds are 10.The drawback: About the only thing that will sharpen a ceramic knife is a diamond sharpener! You need what is called a diamond-wheel sharpener -- however, it is important to note that ceramic knives will hold their edge for months, if not years, without needing sharpening.If you really need to sharpen these, you can take them to a professional with the proper diamond-sharpening equipment, or you can buy your own diamond-enabled sharpening devices.Whatever the case, the cost of these ceramic knives is a fraction of what you would pay for high carbon stainless steel, or perhaps titanium coated knives, made with hand-forged pure high carbon blade (and even I can’t afford to buy one of those).What’s incredible about these ceramic blades is that you get a knife that performs as well as, (and in some respects better) than one of those elite titanium coated blades -- and these ceramic knifes take a punishment like you would not believe.I love everything about these knives -- they have an excellent feel in the hand, a good combination of heft and balance. They look attractive and you get a variety of sizes for handling all different kinds of cutting.Especially for the price, this is simply a fantastic deal on a set of knives. I’ll stake my reputation (no pun intended) by calling this an offer where you "can’t go wrong."Please note I received this cutlery set free in exchange for a 100% objective, unbiased and honest review based on an actual “in-the-kitchen” field test of this equipment.

A great addition to my kitchen
KOOPOO ceramic Knife Set With protective storage sheathsThis is the nicest set of knives I have ever owned. The knives are such great quality andI love the protective sheaths. I am so glad to have this new addition to my home.I visited my daughter recently and she had a great set of ceramic knives. I enjoyedusing them so much when I came home I thought I would get a set for my home as well.My daughter purchased her set from a boutique cooking store and she paid about $60.Which is probably normal for a nice set of knives.I was't sure what to expect from this set as it was so much less than what she paid for hers.I was pleased when this set came in. It is very comparable the set she has.Set includes: 6" Chef Knife, 5" Utility Knife, 4" Fruit Knife, 3" Paring Knife a ceramic peelerThese knives are a dark grey. At first sight they don't actually look like ceramic.They look like steel. I think they look beautiful. They had a nice hard plastic handle.The weight is nice. Pretty light weight. It feels good in your hand while you use them.The thing I like best is that nothing sticks to it. Just a quick rinse and its clean.I really like the peeler. It works great and it is super sharp.The sheaths are such a nice added bonus. It not only protects knifes from getting dullso they never need to be sharpened, but also is a great safety feature.If you are considering these knives I think you will be as happy with this set as you wouldwith a pricier set from another source. I am certainly happy with them. The knives that arrived unbroken are simply not sharp. ...
The knives that arrived unbroken are simply not sharp. They don't compare with my older steel knives in sharpness, let alone another ceramic knife.

Three Stars
They are okay. Dulled fast. But over all for the price okay.

They're sharp!
These knives work great. I really like the feel of the plastic/rubber handle; it's not soft but feels good in my hand. Each of the knives come in a cute sheath with air holes and an apple design on them. The sheath is definitely nice to keep those sharp blades protected.I found out when slicing a tomato that these ceramic knives really are sharp! I also found out why people have fingernails. ;-) Fortunately the knife sliced into my nail, but didn't go any farther.So far these knives are working really well for what we've used them for. I'm not much of a cook (ok, not a cook at all), but we've used them to slice tomatoes, hard boiled eggs and chicken breasts and they cut like "buttah". Haven't tried the peeler yet, but at this price for four great knives the peeler is like a bonus.{Sample provided for review}
