Vibram Women's FiveFingers V- Run Shoe

Not for everyone, but I love them
This is my third pair of FiveFingers, and my second in a row of this exact style. I've been professionally fitted for running shoes in the past (over and over and over), but I still always suffered from knee pain and shin splints on longer (3+ mile) runs. At some point I gave these minimalist shoes a try, and I've never gone back. All pain and issue are gone when I wear these. Here's the thing though: they're not for everyone. If you've tried so many other running shoes that you've lost count, they might be worth trying. Another big plus with them for me is that most of my workouts these days are at OrangeTheory where we spend a good chunk of time on the weight floor. I love the extra stability that I get from having a bit of toe grip. If I were at home, I'd be barefoot, but that's not a reasonable option in a gym environment. So for me, these are a great multi-purpose shoe.Read up on these if you're switching to them for the first time. If your feet are accustomed to arch support, you are almost definitely going to "suffer" through an adjustment phase. Wear them for short periods of time, increasing over time, so that your foot and leg muscles adapt to the weirdness that they are not used to.The other thing I'll throw out there is that different models of this brand fit very differently. My first pair, I had to go up 2 sizes above my usual because they fit so tightly. These I go up 1 size. You might want to try them on locally (and remember that your feet will swell a bit on longer runs, so account for that when you're testing them out). The toe parts are way longer than I need them to be (I have stubby, short toes), but that's okay. The rest of the shoe fits well.I hope everyone reading this finds the right shoes for them and their fitness activities!

MY FAVORITE VIBRAM
When I first got these I thought they were small & tight. However, after wearing them they stretched out perfectly and fit just like a glove. I have 15 pairs of Vibrams including KMD Evo, KMD LS Sport, Trek Ascent, V-Trail, MR Spyridon, etc. The KMD Evo were my favorite until I wore these. They are light, so comfortable, great to run in, etc. I wear these all day everyday except for days when I do box jumps and a lot of jumping when I wear the KMD Evo for the extra cushion. I have now ordered my 2nd pair of this model. I have been a 37 in all Vibrams (except Trek Ascent) and wear a 37 in this model.

Narrow
Great shoe. Wanted to love it. But too narrow and tight and the little toe is short. I could not wear toe socks with it. Still giving it five stars because it is very well-made just didn’t fit my foot. If you have a narrow foot, I think it would work very well. The sole is very grippy.

Super light and great for minimalist style running!
I normally wear an 8.5 in shoes and can wear a 39 or 40 in Vibrams, depending on the style and fit. Based on the reviews, I sized down to the 39 and it fits great. The toe seams aren't shoved against my toes and the toes aren't crazy long (as I'm assuming they would be if I got the 40 based on other's reviews).I LOVE the color!!! I got the Fiery Coral and they are super bright and fun! These shoes are SUPER light and breathable. My feet do still sweat (but that's because I'm running in July in Louisiana...with the humidity, it's basically like running in a bowl of soup).I wanted to wait until I've had a chance to run in these for a bit before doing a review. I do a 30 minute circuit workout in the morning, followed by a 1.5 run around my neighborhood (would love to up my distances again, but with an infant, time is limit now), and these feel really nice on the pavement to run in. ******with that being said, I have been running minimalist style for several years, please don't try to wear these if you don't know how to run properly in them, you WILL mess yourself up!********My only complaint about these that made me give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tongue digs into the top of my foot. It's not so bad that I can't stand it, but as of right now, this would definitely prevent me from wearing them for longer than just my morning workouts. I'm hoping that as I wear them more, they'll stretch out and soften up a little bit more. This being said, I also have really high arches, so I tend to not be able to wear mules or slip on athletic shoes because the tops of them dig into my bones at the top of my foot. I've never had this problem with five fingers before, though, so this kind of shocked me.

Love these!!
This was my first time purchasing this type of shoe. I have loved them from afar for a long time but was to nervous to take the dive and try them for myself. I am so glad that I finally got over that! I have worn these shoes to work several times and only on the nights that we have been super busy and had a ton of patients to transport, did my feet hurt. I love the feeling of not really feeling the shoes on your feet. Super lightweight and comfy. One down side is of you kick something by accident, there’s no protection to your toes. Ouch!I ordered the size that was equivalent to an 8 1/2-9 and I think I could have ordered a size smaller. I might try that next time.

Toe shoes.
I bought 2.The second pair I threw away. They are not sized as the advertisement portrays.Extremely too tight.Toes are not large enough to house your toes. They may fit a kid.But not an adult.I am very disappointed.I spent $74.; the 2nd time.A waste of money.

Great quality, fit snug
This is an amazing pair of shoes. Great quality and good price. I ordered a size 8 women because I normally wear 7.5 yet the pair I received was very small. Because if the stretch in the material I can still wear them. They are made narrow.

Excelente calidad
