Worked in torrential(google it) rain
Worked well, folded well, fit well, did the job perfectly. Fit in my backpack and forgot I had it until it started to raind like there was no tomorrow. When I put this on and strolled back to the hotel where everyone was sheltering under the building structure, everyone exclaimed how impress they were that i had this. I could carry my pack, and carry on luggage no problem, both hands free. Messed up my hair a little because of the hood but much better than an umbrella which would have folded in torrential rain.Have not used as a camping tent yet, but feels durable enough.10 out of 10 in my book. Also liked that this had a logo, when the competition doesn't advertise itself.

Perfect for light rain and drizzle
We used these Panchos for the Portuguese Coastal Camino in May. Some rain almost every day and they were perfect for that trip. On some of the heavier days, I wish I would have picked up some gators for my shoes and legs. Also, We ended up marking a white line on the inside so when you were throwing it on you could easily align front and where your head went without looking hard.Great product, held up after several on/off/on/off and shove in the backpack.

Large enough to accommodate a large backpack
I bought this for an upcoming hiking trip in Spain. I will be there in the Fall and expect some rain. This poncho's extended back panel is long enough to cover my day pack and the upper part of my legs. The material is actually a woven fabric, not just a sheet of plastic. While this should make the poncho a bit sturdier than one made from a sheet of plastic, I am concerned that the poncho may not be 100% waterproof (even though the manufacturer claims they've applied a waterproof coat). Because the rear of the poncho hangs straight down, I will likely use a belt or rope to cinch this poncho around my waist. This should prevent the wind from blowing the poncho up, leaving the backpack and my back exposed to the rain. Also, I would wear a baseball cap with this poncho since there isn't much of an overhang to protect my face in case of rain. Overall, a decent product.

Worked great!
Took this up to Alaska for hiking in the spring. It kept me dry while I wore boots, jeans, and a couple layers up top for wicking and warmth. Everyone else who wore waterproof/resistant jackets were soaked. The only thing I added were thick washer zip-tied to each corner to prevent the gusts of wind from blowing it up. I recommend this to anyone hiking in the rain. It may not be the most attractive piece of gear, but it'll keep you dry and keep you warm.

Love the visor and the sleeves
I had the oppotunity to test mine out the day after I received it, needing to drive a golf cart in wind driven pour rain for two hours. The size was generous enough to cover my legs and enough of the seat so I remained dry. Being able to velcro sleeves into it made it cover my arms well and the visor is a huge bonus if you wear glasses.Baased on my first use I am giving it a 5.

Great for travel sport
We live in a very Rainey state and play travel sports. This is thick and strong material. This keeps you dry and can be used many many times and still feels new

Huge!
I had high hopes for this poncho, but it was just really huge & way too much to deal with while backpacking. It did cover the pack sufficiently though.

covers the backpack - ideal for hiking in the rain
My husband and I took these on a long distance hiking trip and found them very useful in the occasional downpour. They are long enough to protect not just your backpack, but the majority of your pants (depending on your height) from getting wet. The package is not insignificant in size, so it will take up room in your pack, but if you are going somewhere where you expect rain, I think it is worth bringing.
