Decent but has issues...
Pros:* Small form factor.* Buttons are well positioned (on the bottom, since most dashcams are mounted up high), triggers me when they put buttons in bad positions.* Screen is nice and wide.* It does have a battery powered parking monitor functionality. You have to turn it on in the menu under "Parking Monitor", out of the box it's off. Once on, if you turn the dashcam off, then tap it with your finger it starts up and records. The start up is extremely fast which is great, some other dashcams have parking monitor where once it starts booting, it takes 15 seconds to boot, by then the perp has fled.* Menu is decent and not complicated when you get into it.* Comes with a GPS module.* When you turn the key off and the power to the accessory socket is cut, it tells you it's going into parking mode on the screen which is nice. Other dashcams do this but don't explicitly say it on the screen.Cons:* The design is kind of ugly.* Comes uncharged out of box, if the internal battery drains this thing loses date and time so you're screwed if you want to set it up at home before putting it in your car.* Unit only comes with a car charger, no USB cable and that's annoying for the reason above.* Uses USB Mini-B (5-pin type, not 4-pin), not asking for USB-C but can they not move to Micro or something at least?* Don't like how the GPS module is on the cable for the charger itself, could they not incorporate it onto the unit itself, it's like a tumor on the charging cable.* It's annoying to get into the menu. You have to press OK first to stop recording, then hold the menu key to get into it. Just lightly pressing the menu key does some weird locking thing, whatever. From a UX perspective buttons with more than one purpose is kind of non-intuitive.* Quite possibly the WORST part about this is how it writes data to the MicroSD. If you format using the format function within the dashcam itself, I don't know what partition table it uses but it becomes impossible to read in both Windows and Mac (they read it as a damaged file system and ask you to format). On other dashcams whether you format out of the dashcam or within, you get a nice clean result and you can pop the MicroSD directly into a PC or Mac and watch the recordings as if it was a flash drive, not this one. After experimenting with it I've come up with a workaround you can read about below.* The above describes how PCs and Macs cannot read the MicroSD once the dashcam formats it, conversely if you format the MicroSD card using certain file systems, the dashcam will say the "Card is Full" and fail to work.* It asks you to install a GxPlayer thing for playing back the video with GPS data which is a mega no from me. It connects to some weird server and starts to download something, the whole thing looks like malware and I don't trust it. If you don't install GxPlayer you have no access to the GPS information I assume.* Whatever codec they use to encode the videos makes them able to play on certain media players only (VLC works, Mac's Quicktime does not). Why is this the one dashcam where I can't just play the videos it records without having to find a specific player? In short, they do some things better than other dashcam companies (like the parking monitor and UI) at the same time they do some things that should be easy to get right and that we take for granted, horribly wrong like reading and writing playable videos to a MicroSD card, very perplexing. Haven't tried the rear camera yet either but it looks nice. Some tips to save you the frustration I had:1. Ideally buy or have a separate USB Mini-B charging cable for the dashcam. Not all cables are alike, I have two from a while back, only one charges, the other one does data transfer only.2. When you get it, make sure you leave it charging for an entire day before you start using it. Out of the box it has no charge so you won't be able to start it without a power source. If it's not charged it won't turn on anyway and if it somehow does, any date time you configure will be lost when it shuts off so just charge it. If you don't have a means of charging, you'll have to plug it into your car and let the car's 12v battery charge it for you, which means you have to keep the engine on or ignition in accessory mode since power is cut to the accessory socket otherwise.3. Do NOT use the internal format function, ever, just don't. Instead pre-format the MicroSD card on a PC or Mac first, then pop it in. I've noticed anything formatting to anything other than FAT causes the dashcam to throw a fit.

A decent enough dashcam
It does do a decent job of recording things when your driving but trying to keep the suction cup from falling in the middle of driving can be a pain the first couple of weeks. It literally took me several weeks to get the suction cup to correctly engage with my windshield. Since I live in Florida and it's extremely hot down here to be honest the heat might have been playing a factor in this issue also. I did not receive a microSD card with my purchase but since I already had on on hand that I wasn't using it worked out fine. The recording while parked function doesn't seem to work correctly but since my vehicle's power port does not have constant power I don't know if that is fault of the camera or the lack of power from my vehicle. All in all a good purchase. I can't seem to find the night vision on my camera but if I ever do that would make it an even better investment.

Finally found a good camera
I used this for 1300 miles of driving in the first week and it is awesome as a dashcam. For overall in the big spectrum of conditions it has to cover this works great. But, keep in mind all the conditions it has to be able to perform it could let you down if you think you are buying an LPR camera. It can capture plates in the right conditions, but as I work for a very prominent camera manufacturer, we have specific cameras for that. So, if you have the right understanding, you will like what this camera has to offer.

Not terrible, not great
Unlike some other buyers, I've had no trouble gettting the internal clock to stay set, or downloading the video to another device, although the filesizes are HUGE considering the poor resolution. If the light is just right, the front cam can capture a license plate, the rear cam, more rarely so.Worst of all is the supplied windshield mount for the rear camera; it is exactly wrong if the intent was to provide a good rear view. view our the back. You can't get a good view because the swivel adjustment joint is blocked by the camera itself as it comes into contact with the windshield. And if the windshield slopes more toward the horizontal near the top, like many do, you can't mount the camera there because of the low angle of attack. The front camera is supplied with a better and more practical mount and doesn't have this problem.TAKE NOTE: It's fiendishly difficult to properly insert the memory card so that it clicks securely into place, and to remove it. You have to push it in with a fingernail, while awkwardly keeping another finger in place to block it from popping out, which it will do if you don't have it inserted exactly right. I've lost one new 64g card already When something that small gets lost inside a car, chances are it won't ever be found again. For all I know, it went down one of the slots where you fasten a seatbelt. REMOVING the card is almost as difficult.

How to install it
Only thing I disliked about it was setting it up installation but other than that it works great for and I use it for my truck all features it has

The screen is too small and it is difficult to setup. Still can't get it to playback
It's a deterrent against bad cops. It does work for that. I have had cops look over, see the camera and just keep going. They know they'll get busted in court.
