Saved having to replace an expensive front door lock set
The existing key lock tumbler was not releasing the key without lots of resistance, causing bent keys and eventually could result in breaking off. I have always liked the Kwikset ability to re-key to a particular key. Finding this replacement key tumbler was the perfect solution! It's super easy to replace and, of course, change to your existing key. It saved having to replace a $200 front door lock set.

Great product
Needed to replace 2 locks on at the house and these deadbolt cylinders where exactly what I needed. Now I have the entire house keyed to one new key. Easy to install, just follow the instructions on installing your deadbolt. Be mindful that you may have to remove a clip that secures the cylinder and reinstall it afterwards. Had a slight issue with one in which the key seemed like it did not work, yet I was still able to rekey it with no issues.

A little difficult to install.
You have to have the right size Allen head and Philips screwdriver. Then it takes a while to align everything. However this is not the products fault. I di not give it five stars because the face is not polished,

Very inexpensive way to fix my busted lock plus I got to keep all of the existive door hardware.
