I love this cup! I had gastric bypass surgery at the weekend, and now can’t drink very much in a short time: all the cups of tea I had in the hospital were wasted as I couldn’t even drink a quarter of it before it was stone cold!I picked this umi one as I didn’t want a “thermos” or a travel mug, I just wanted an insulated cup! This was better than I’d hoped for, it really does keep my hot drinks hot, and cold drinks cold! I’m considering buying another one as it’s so nice having cups where the drink inside doesn’t end up room temperature (for cold drinks) or cold for hot drinks!I love the holographic pink colour, and also the feel of it in my hands (it doesn’t get hot on the outside) the straw is a nice bonus, as is the cleaning kit that comes with it.As for leakproof, I have this cup with a toddler running crazily around… I haven’t “tested” how leakproof it is, but in any event it has to be better than an open cup going over!

I’m a slow drinker of hot drinks, and end up throwing away half a cupful several times a day.This cup is perfect for me, it’s attractive and lightweight also it keeps my drink hot for hours, if I put the lid on between sips.

I actually really like this mug save for one thing... it tips over too easily. The lid is pretty leak resistant, but only if all of the holes are closed. The trouble is that you need to pop the flappy lid up when you use the straw, otherwise it is too airtight to sip from.It keeps drinks hot for an amazing amount of time when the lid is used - massive props for that.All in all, I use my mug a lot, but I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Excellent mug. My tea was still red hot 2 hours later, even after taking sips throughput that time. I used to drink lots of cold tea or end up throwing it away because I get distracted and forget it’s there. Saving a fortune on tea bags now. Even though it’s insulated it’s not a thick mug at all. Cold to the touch but lovely and hot inside. Comes with two different types of lid and straws. Can use with straws or as a sippy mug,or just take the lid off and drink like a normal mug then replace to keep warm. It’s brilliant. Not totally spill proof though. It has got a non slip bottom.

I didn’t test whether it was leakproof so cannot comment. However it’s a bit unwieldy to drink from, by the time the lid is on the lip is quite thick and I didn’t like drinking from it. It looks nice but I’m going back to the Contigo brand.

I'm disabled & needed a cup which was very lightweight, with a lid, a handle & a straw. Even with coffee in it, it's still light enough for me to use & hold it. I use the straw to drink, it's not 100% leak proof at the lid, but it's good enough, it really doesn't leak much at all. The colour is beautiful too.

Received yesterday used today but never again, when I first received I was a bit dubious because the lids didn’t fit tightly on but I thought maybe with drink in they might but no, there’s drink everywhere lid hadn’t stayed on, for travel mugs they are not worth the money

I am well pleased with the quality and presentation of the purchase, as I have difficulty holding things and carrying things, this cup is perfect, I can carry it with ease and not scold myself. Thank you so much, Dora T
