I used this the first time in my life i ever bleached my hair, i had to order a second one because my roots didnt completly bleach. But, i have to add i have silver gray hair, and it is very color resistant, so it would make sense that it wouldn't bleach well either.

Just received in the mail today. Went to open the clear bag around it and the box under was soaked through, looks like the cap was opened and product spilled through out and soaked the box. Pretty sure i got a chemical burn when trying to open the box as well due to the spill.

This is one of the better brands for bleaching hair at home. This stuff is $10 at Target and given that you'll need atleast two boxes to fully saturate medium length hair for the best lift, that is a good deal. I have no complaints about this bleach kit. The no bleach bleach kit is a completely different matter, but atleast this version is fine. Work with your own bowl, brush, gloves, and conditioner.

Without all of the damage to the hair, this product did exactly what it was supposed to. It lightened the hair enough levels to use a bright color over top. I can't stress enough, it didn't damage the hair!

Found this at Target for 9.99 and was instantly intrigued by it being ammonia free. I liked the product and feel like it worked pretty well but it definitely has its pros and cons-PROS- its dust free and comes in two separate tubes with the instructions to mix together- so no measuring. Instructions are easy to read and follow- I would say they are much more simpler and easier on your eyesight to read compared to other hair dye products. I feel the product didn't damage my hair, didn't give a burning sensation like normal bleach would and I can definitely see the lift.CONS-I have short, about an inch above my shoulders, semi thick hair. ONE package was NOT ENOUGH for my hair- I was not able to do my roots or a small upper section on one side of my head which was very disappointing for the price ( as normally one packet from Sally's beauty and a small bottle of developer for about the same price will do my hair and have left over). Additionally, the bleach sorta felt like a dry paste on my hair about ten minutes from application. As for the lightening this product does- its ok but used it on light brown/red colored hair and it lifted to a copper light blonde, so I'm not to convinced it would work well on black hair.Overall I would say it would be good for if you planned to lighten your hair over a period of time or if you need a quick lighten, if you already have lighter colored hair, before dying a bright vivid color. Would not recommend if you are trying to go platinum/ white.

If you have thin hair that easily damages this a great product for bleaching your hair. Does not damage hair leaves hair feeling healthier then before bleaching it.
