A great intorduction to the philosophy behind Wing Tsun
As a martial arts teacher, I found this book very helpful in summarising the key ideas behind Wing Tsun (aka Wing Chun, Ving Tsun). This book explains the ideas behind each of the 4 forms, relating to their mindset, movements, and the Chinese philosophies which gave birth to this martial art many years ago in Shaolin.A lot of martial art books miss the philosophy and focus on correct positions, strength training, diet, ect and while all of these are important, I found this book to be a useful guide to the higher ideas which inform everything else.Finding practical application of any philosophy is difficult, and this book explains them in relation to Kung Fu, business, and leading a more mindful, engaged life.

not what expected
The essence is good but the author ends up talking all about his business. A little too boring as all the references are about him and his restaurant.
