Very good quality!
These seem to be made with much better quality than the cheaper brands I've used in the past. I appreciate the fact that all the sewing on both the bag and the blanket looks well done, the edges are neatly hemmed, and since the fiberglass is apparently silicone treated, the blanket did not shed one single fiber when I unfolded it for inspection - no more itches! The manufacturer was even thoughtful enough to include a small sheet with folding directions which I thought was a nice touch. I like to have at least one pf these in my kitchen and one in my garage just in case of small fires. I have fire extinguishers too, but with a fire blanket there's certainly a lot less mess to clean up afterwards and you never have to worry about them running low on charge. Definitely well worth the money just for peace of mind even if you never use it.

Every kitchen should have one, and one to keep in the car.
It’s vital to have SOME TYPE of fire extinguisher in the kitchen. All kitchens, but especially with seniors living at home, or in their own homes.I keep one in my car in case I come across a fire burning along a road or freeway - something I’m seeing (last summer,) far too often. Many people gather and try to put out fires along freeways with their shoes. This product would be a tremendous help to STOP all small fires before they’re destructive.

Unsinged Shirt Tackling
I am very impressed with the quality of these blankets. I took them out of their bags, unfolded them, and gave them a thorough look-over—if these are going to save my life someday, I’m absolutely going to inspect them first. The blanket material is very sturdy, and surprisingly flexible, which seems like a good thing if you’re trying to envelop and smother a fire. The stitching is all very tight, no loose threads. The blanket edges are folded back so the stitching isn’t directly in the edge, and the bag edges are reinforced. I messed around with the blankets, pulling and flapping them around, and I can confirm they are robust. If a roommate catches fire while cooking, I would feel safe tackling them with this blanket. Probably wouldn’t even get my shirt singed.

Peace of mind
Something you buy hoping you never have to use. What you WILL get is peace of mind knowing it's there "just in case".

Peace of mind
Haven’t needed to use it but give me peace of mind. I put one outside by the fire pit and one by the stove in our short term vacation rental.

Easy to use and effective!
Bringing them up to the mountains for when we barbecue!

Great product!
Great product and material. I like that these blankets can put out a kitchen fire without the use of an extinguisher, especially because my daughter often cooks for herself but might not be strong enough to use the extinguisher.

Did not burn
I thought this was a fire starter not a putter outter.
