Box arrived in excellent condition. It is a little pricey, but for me it is just within budget for a change from regular puzzles. These are a great pastime gift for someone who cannot get out much and can only spend a limted amount of time sitting up, no paint or glue to dry out. I am just started building it, my 8th one in just over 4 years. The new delivery courier, BMI, is something else. Dispite specific delivery instructions to my apartments private entrance, they again left it on the floor in the unsecure lobby by the wrong apartment door.

La calidad de los materiales es excelente, hace posible montar todo sin romper las piezas, con esfuerzo pero con seguridad. El buen diseño de las piezas, la confianza en que el resultado final será excelente, hace que la maqueta terminada sea una obra de ingeniería. El corte láser, perfecto. Quizá, el sistema de gomas elásticas se hace complicado, que giren con suavidad los ejes es difícil. Cuando se termina todo... ¡la máquina, el vagón, la vía del tren... quedan espléndidas!

This is my Second U-Gear and again I loved to assemble the complete model...Each & Every part is a perfect match...Just need to use proper wax given & the sand paper...The way it looks after assembling even plastic or metal models Can't match. Some parts are tiny & delicate..do take care while removing from the board..But once again I feel prices have to be lesser. Otherwise it's a perfect Model or Toy even for adults. Hat's to the manufacturing team & mind behind to this concept.

I saw the UGears carousel before Christmas and had a spontaneous urge to ask for it as a present. I enjoyed making it so much that I bought this train as an extra present to keep me busy during the latest lockdown. It was a major step up in complexity and has given me many happy (and sometimes frustrating!) hours of 'busyness'.A few tips:1. It is absolutely worth taking your time to wax the moving parts, sand rough edges and cut the little pins (cocktail sticks) accurately. You'll get a much smoother result and it makes the puzzle last longer, why rush? I think the suggested time of 12 hours to make is probably a good average but it could take considerably longer.2. Read the instructions VERY carefully, look at the diagrams and check you have the pieces the correct way round at each stage. It's quite easy to make a mistake and have to backtrack.3. It probably won't work immediately. You'll need to spend some time easing cogs, wheels and other moving parts. I watched a YT video to see what the problems might be and eventually got it working really well, but it took persistence and care.4. It will really help to have a craft knife (and cutting board) and small lightweight hammer (3oz head or less). You don't need glue for assembly but I did use a tiny amount to repair a couple of fragile pieces which broke during removal from the wood sheets.The final result is a beautifully engineered masterpiece, see the video. With all the little details it looks brilliant and friends and family have been very impressed. Finally, if you're not sure whether this is for you, I'm a 57yr old grandma!

....und Grobmotoriker. Ehrlich! Das wird nix.Angeblich kann man den Baustz innerhalb von 12 Stunden komplett fertig stellen. Das ist bestimmt möglich. Wundern braucht man sich dann nicht, wenn ständig Teile abbrechen oder die Lok dann hinterher nicht anständig fährt.Ich habe mir 12 Tage Yeit gelassen. mit großen Pausen.Meine Lok fährt über die 2 Meter mitgelieferten Gleise hinaus. Und beim Bau ist mir kein einziges Teil abgebrochen!Wer hier also schlechte Rezensionen verfasst, weil sie nicht anständig fährt oder was kaputt ist, der sollte sich selber an der Nase fassen, denn der Bausatz ist durchdacht und funktioniert einwandfrei.Ich habe schon zig Bausätze fertig gemacht. Üblicherweise die Revell-Geschichten oder Modellbau z.B. Eisenbahn, Boote etc. Einen Bausatz dieser Art hatte ich noch nie, und ich muß ehrlich gestehen,...das stellt alles in den Schatten!Ich bekam den Bausatz zu Weihnachten......natürlich das schwerste Modell :-DEinen so großen Spaß hatte ich mit noch keinem Bausatz. Die Ideen, die umgesetzt wurden, um aus den dünnen Platten ein tolles Funktionsmodell zu schaffen brachten mich immer wieder zum Grinsen :-) Und dann ist alles auch noch sehr präzise herausgelasert.Da hat sich jemand richtig Mühe gegeben.Ich empfehle ALLEN, den Einsatz des versteckten Werkzeugs, das sich auch auf den Platten befindet. Sieht wie eine Art Dreizack aus. Ganz vorne in der Anleitung steht, wo es zu finden ist. Das hilft in vielen Situationen und erleichtert den Einbau immens. Keine Ahnung, wie jemand ohne dieses Werkzeug z.B. die Zahnstocherstifte in den richtigen Längen abschneidet. Kann ja dann auch nicht richtig funktionieren, da die korrekten Maße manchmal eben doch ausschlaggebend sind. Noch ein Tip:Ich habe ein Werkzeugset mit 2 Pinzetten, 2 feinen Feilen (so wie für Maniküre) und ne kleine Zange zum abschneiden dazu bekommen. Gibt es auch hier bei Amayon. Ganz wichtig auch ein dünnes Skalpell. Damit lassen sich die kleinen Stege an den ganz dünnen und empfindlichen Teilen durchtrennen, bevor mit roher Gewalt alles abbricht. Ich habe nie mit den Fingern, sondern mit dem geheimen Werkszeug die Teile nach und nach heraus gedrückt.Und dann immer schön feilen und wachsen wachsen wachsen. ich habe dafür ein Teelich hergenommen, wo der Docht fehlte.Dann flutscht alles schön und die Lok gibt richtig Gas!Schade, daß ich jetzt keine Steigerung nach oben habe. Aber der nächste Bausatz ist schon ausgesucht :-)Absolute Kaufempfehlung !!
