Woman WithinWomen's Plus Size 7-Day Knit Wide-Leg Pant

First of all, the size is completely different from all other sizing I've ever seen. 2X is always 22-24, or 20-22. These 2X slacks are 24-26, which is a 3X. So they are very big. Not only that, but they are tagged Women Petite, but the rise is not for a short woman, and the leg length is way too long. Petite is for women under 5'4", and these would easily fit a woman who is over 5' 6". Finally, the legs are not "wide leg". They are more like a boot cut than any flare. I am very surprised - Woman Within used to be spot on in their sizing, their descriptions, and consistency. To make these work, I'd have to roll over the waist band, and hem the legs about 3 or 3 1/2 inches.

The fabric is soft and light weight but not thin, making these very nice for warmer weather. All the seams seem well done and sturdy. They fit as expected without any weird binding and did not slip down in the back when I sat down. The legs are wide but only a little wider than the "standard" pants I have purchased in the past. I like them very much. The color is a very dark navy.

I love how soft these are. Based on my measurements I knew the Large would be roomy for me, but I wasn't really comfortable going down to M knowing I sit actually between M and L. I could probably have sized down without issue. These are floaty and light and soft like pajamas and I like them a lot out of the package. I will wash and dry them and see if they shrink up, which would be no tragedy at all. I was a bit curious about the 'extra long rise' and it definitely is. Even many years after my twins were born I still look somewhat preggo and the waistline of these pants rests in the upper half of my 'bump', which is slightly odd, but not a big deal as long as I don't tuck my shirt in! For my 5'2.5" height, with the waistband up high, the length is perfect. If I try to push that waistband down I'll probably look like I have a soggy bottom and the length will drag the ground (I wear athletic style walking shoes). Ladies of larger waistband should know there's plenty of room in these pants. That means the elastic 'pleating' effect will be there for smaller waistbands.These are perfect travel pants, very comfy!

I used to buy regularly from Women Within but stopped when the quality seemed to decline. I took the chance on these and I'm very pleased at how nice they were. A good weight of knit for year round, very soft and comfortable. A nice long waist which seem hard to find these days - your pants don't stop at your hips. Perfectly good for office casual wear. I plan to buy more in additional colors.

I like these for everyday comfort. They do run large so I ordered down one size and they were perfect. They were about 1” longer than I needed but I’m 5’3 so I roll the waistband once and it works for me. They seem to wash well and I haven’t noticed any shrinking. I especially like the wider legs. I reordered in almost all the darker colors for this winter.

I accidentally ordered "petite" - was ready to return,but when I tried them on they were plenty long. I'm 5'11". And the pants are marked petite?! They would be way too long for a woman under about 5'9"!

I needed brown slacks, I'm also very short and very very wide.THE size large, by this manufacturer fit me everywhere BUT LENGTH.I was certain a large would not, but by golly it did, I did need to run them to the alterations at my local cleaner to shorten them.I am exactly 5', perhaps a bit shorter, but quite heavy especially around my middle.

I am short, only 5'1" so was glad to find some petite pants that fit. Will buy more later.
