I have a LOT of Godox products, and I didn't know exactly what I expected, but these are even better.They come with a fantastic carrying case, and the material of the tube lights feels very nice, but lightweight at the same time. I think they made the material a bit thinner than they could have because they are meant to be handheld as well as on a light stand, so I appreciate that.It comes with barn doors which can easily be removed or reversed depending on whether you're using bi-color or RGB mode (they are on opposite sides).The remote is awesome, and has color presets, which are great to use, or good starting points for tweaking.Very bright and color accurate as usual, and you can see in my last photo how much bigger they are than the Nanlite Pavotube II 6C. The Pavotubes are only 6 watts while these are 32 watts. Granted, the Pavotube II 6C are meant for a slightly different application, but they are very dim compared to these, so I think that makes these more versatile.They are perfect for backgrounds, back/accent lights, practicals, light painting, and more.

When I first got the light I was excited, tested it out the light for a minute not too bad I thought and the case was nice and sturdy.. I remember seeing people in the review and in the video using the remote to control the light.. but I couldn’t find a remote anywhere, later I seen The remote was supposedly sold for separately for $35 but in the case there is a little space for a remote, I started doing my research and found the exact same light with the remote on Amazon for the same price.. I returned the light so I can get the one with the remote.I don’t understand why this company chose to sell the remote separately and give you some weird handle holder instead.

Godox as a brand has been impressive but I was underwhelmed by the LC500R.Good: Value, Bright, built-in battery, long battery life, easily mountedAverage: RGB saturation from 0-1 is a huge jump and 99-100 is another huge jump, it's not as granular as any advertising will have you believe.Bad: FX, I was expecting the 3 modes to be slightly different but they're just the speed of the same pattern which is frankly very underwhelming and looks "canned" in every effects, unfortunately - a little disappointed there.Build quality is weak though acceptable - it wouldn't last a fall from a 3m mount height.The 5/8" thread on the bottom to mount it is ridiculous, it should have been a 3/4", I have no confidence it'll hold.Hope this is helpful!

This light stick carries a serious fist and will punch you in the face the first time you use it. It is not only way cheaper than competitors but I suspect better for what you will do with it. Best light I've purchased in a while and I only buy Godox products. I am about to order a second one to get even more creative.
