Works Well
Installed a month ago. Used once already for extracting another truck stuck in mud and works well. Line speed is faster than my old Ramsey REP 6000. Instructions are worthless. Connect the three short large diameter leads to the posts on top of the winch motor, matching the wire color to the motor post color. Connect the small black wire from the control box to the bottom post on the winch motor. Connect the Negative battery wire to the bottom post on the motor. The Positive wire comes from the control box and is fairly long but did not reach the battery in my diesel 2021 Gladiator. I used a marine battery switch to extend the Positive lead and turn the winch off when not in use. Two things I did: I turned the control box around and I disconnected the wireless remote control unit inside the box (just personal preference)

Review from a serious winch ABUSER
I've had Warns, Badlands, Smitty's, Daythons, all 12k+. I do scrap, industrial logging, and off-road recovery for a living. When I say I use the hell out of a winch I mean I snap 1"wire rope at least 3 times a day, and normally 3-6 snatch blocks (50k rated) are involved. I have had the winch now for about 2weeks and I put her to work the second the postman dropped off the box. The only complaint I have with it is the line speed is really slow, but I'm really impressed with this winch. It came with 53ft of synthetic rope and the remote works around ten feet past the hook at full pull. I wanted to test her out so I put my f350 welding rig (sitting on 38" mudders with 50% tread) in 4 low Park with the E Brake on some solid ground. I was able to drag my truck 50ft and get 3 tires off the ground before the oak uprooted. I may also add I did not give the winch a break.....that's right I just layed on the button for 5 min straight pulling 12000 pounds. I then headed to a scraping job where I used it to pull apart and flip over a 1992 palm harbor double wide. I once again gave no mercy to this blue abuse puppy. I have yet to snap the rope, straighten the hook, or smoke the engine. I don't think a brand new war could have handled the first 3 days I beat on it. Someone watched me load a drum off of an old 1930 steamroller onto a trailer with this winch and they attempted to buy it from me to wich I declined. I have used it to flip 3 trucks grill over tailgate onto my trailer. To my surprise the drum brake is amazing. When you stop the load, that's where it's going to stay. This winch is worth the money, I honestly think this company is underselling the 13k winch by at least $200. If I didn't buy it myself I would think that the winch would be in the$600-700 range.

Great customer service
Love this winch. Used for over 2 months. We pick up broke down cars with this winch it’s a piece of cake. Solenoid Went bad, not sure why but im one to believe something’s just go out and companies need to back up their product which they did for free of charge and got replacement part within a few days. I recommend this product. Thank you Reindeer.

Works as advertised
I installed this on my winch bumper, and immediately the thing stopped working. I hooked it up to the battery, drew out some line and applied the spool in button, and for a split second it whirred to life, but then immediately died. Now, the button only clicks both to spool in and to spool out. Don’t waste your money.I’m going to attempt some troubleshooting, and maybe I can get it working again. I’ll update if I can.EDIT:I’ve determined what my problem was, and the wing appears to work fine now. The winch requires a VERY solid ground. Grounding the winch to the frame, or to anything other than the battery terminal itself will result in it not working. If your winch is spooling in slowly, or won’t spool in at all (but the solenoids click when you press the button) then check your ground. I got the jumper cables out of the back and hooked it up that way and it worked fine.If any other problems arise, I’ll update this review further

Missing hardware and dead on arrival
I usually don't write reviews, but this one really frustrated me! I purchased the winch 3/4/21 and it was delivered 3/5/21. I began to install the winch on a receiver style winch mount. I immediately discovered it was missing one of the bolts/nut sets for the fairlead plate. Not being too big of a deal, I replaced the missing hardware. I then wired all the "color coded" cables to the winch per the poorly translated Chinese to English manual. Once completed, I wired it to a BRAND NEW battery reading 12.8 volts DC. I operated the cable remote and the winch did absolutely NOTHING. I also tried the wireless remote and once again, it did ABSLOUTELY NOTHING. Once again, I am the victim of another poor quality control product from China.... Would not recommend, unless you need a heavy object for a boat anchor...

Disappointed!!!
First off, the fairlead roller was not standard 124mm bolt holes!! So it fits the little crappy mount that they send BUT not the real mount I bought for my Polaris!! So had to immediately spend $12.00 more to get a roller that would fit!! as I am checking to make sure winch works, the wired switch did not work on out? wireless remotes work great, but one of the wires had already pulled out of connection!! WEAK!!! Won't even mention the instructions!! JEEZ, sure hope it works better in the long run than it does right out of the box!! Worried that the workmanship is shoddy!! Hope not!!!
