I use this exclusively now, with no loss of suction...actually feels like it has better suction. The far left and right edges on this attachment pick up dirt perfectly along our baseboards. I think you will be happy with this. Oh, and yes, you will be done sooner. It has drastically reduced my vacuum time with my shark vacuum.
