ANDIAMO FULL CIRCLE: A Round-the-World Motorcycle Adventure

Fantastic story. I know Mr. Dolven and heard many of the stories first hand. Definitely worth your time.

'Andiamo Full Circle' chronicles Bob Dolven's global motorcycle journey over the course of a decade. His book illustrates the highs and lows of globetrotting, juxtaposing the good and bad aspects of humanity the world over. Dolven serves up a sampler platter of exotic locales and distinct cultures, sharing the multitude of challenges and triumphs he experienced along the way. It was an entertaining read start to finish, and I closed the book with a longer bucket list than before. A fellow Phoenix-residing airline pilot and author, I had the good fortune of meeting Capt. Dolven on the job, and I am grateful that our paths crossed!

Incredible journey. Incredible writing. Incredible kindness and soul. For any and all with wanderlust. Bob Dolven has a gift. His gift has reached across the world. I can’t stop reading. Every paragraph is a morsel of amazing humankind.

I really enjoyed reading and following Andiamo and rider/author Bob around the world for all the adventure, education, and inspirations to be better brothers and sisters to our fellow humans. Many descriptions of events made me jealous of Bob and Andiamo, hoping that I could some day have similar experiences. Other occurrences made me glad that I was not along for that part of the ride, as well as amazed that Bob had survived to tell us about the many brushes with misery and disaster. Author Bob invokes these various mindsets through very detailed and exciting prose. Any number of the incidents and locations described in Andiamo would constitute the one story of a lifetime for most people. The tone of the narrative is at turns inviting, conversational, funny, inspirational, sad, and optimistic, all of which make for entertaining reading.

An almost sophomoric work as if written by a high school student, he will encapsulate and entire country in one and a half pages. I’m halfway through it and feel like I’ve wasted my time. There were some touching moment when he interacted with kind people in other countries but the details were very limited. Motorcycling adventurous can be incredibly compelling. This was more of a journal compiled in a hotel room each night on a prearranged tour. Not very exciting or enlightening.

Love it! I'm at airline pilot and backpacked the world. If you like perspective, love to explore humanity and culture, then this unvarnished around the world adventure of a "Pilot abroad 's life" will be the book for you. His YouTube video channel complements book with colorful videos, Cambodia, Anckor Wat-Seim Reap is a must see. This book will inspire you find your own adventure. I once had a friend tell me, Ed the "world is your oyster! Go get it!"

A marvelous book! I loved Bob's interaction with different cultures and his emphasis on the kindness of strangers he encountered along his path. He let's you know the highs and lows of his journey. Well written and enthralling.

Well written - made me feel like I was there along for the ride. One thing for certain, I gained a renewed appreciation for living in the USA when I read of some of the auther's misadventures as he traveled across borders to far away lands. Buy the book, you'll enjoy it.

An amazing undertaking. The kind of dream that everyone has but most are unable to follow. The journey of a lifetime. I have so much admiration for the author’s perseverance and tenacity to keep going even when quitting would have been the easy answer.This is a wonderful read - for all those armchair travellers; thank you to Capt Dolven for making this trip of a lifetime and for sharing it so we can all be part of your dream.
