CHILLING, INTENSE, THRILLING ROMANCE!!
Loose EndsBy: Ann SimasReviewed by: Elizabeth/snoopypeachJessie has dreamed of the deaths of people close to her since she was six. Each time they have come true. Now she is dreaming of horrific, unimaginable murders and the newest dream is her best friend's murder.Mac owns a corporate security company. Jessie stumbles in one day asking for his help. He doesn't do bodyguard work and he definitely doesn't believe in psychic dreams. So why does he find himself taking her case and starting to wonder if what he believes is wrong. This book is a chilling, intense, thriller that at times will leave you speechless. It is not for the faint of heart! The story line grips you and doesn't let go. Portions of the book delve into a deep underbelly of society and will send shivers down your spine. The characters are cleverly and clearly written. Under the shock and intensity of the criminal story you get an emotional romance between two people not looking for love. The whole book is exciting and packed with obstacles for Mac and Jessie to overcome and you end up cheering and cringing right along with them. There was only one drawback for me in the entire book, and it was definitely an ongoing issue for me as a reader. Jessie in the book is quite literally put through one hell after another and I found myself thinking more than once....seriously can this girl not catch a break!?.... Her character was interesting and I liked her moments of fierceness and strength and I very much liked her as a whole. She was very intellIgent and clever and nothing stood in her way when she was looking for the truth. Here was my drawback. I went bananas over how much she cried in the book. For me it was too much. She literally is in tears over something every few pages. Now let me be clear, this girl is put through the ringer and there are absolutely times any sane person would flip out and cry like a two year old. Also there are other things in the book (you have to read it because I am not going to spoil it) that contribute to her being emotional as well, so some of it is justified. But I found myself being drawn out at times because of her crying so much.BUT that being said, I really did enjoy the book and I would read it again. It's all so vivid I could see myself going in to watch a movie version in the theater. The author has a real talent for colorful and interesting characters as well as being able to weave one fantastic story! So if you like action, suspense, a bit of horror, romance, crime drama, and characters that can deliver a great snarky line then this should be right up your alley!Received a copy for an honest review.

WHEN YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE - NOT NECESSARILY A BLESSING
Every six years, Jessica has a nightmare in which she sees a woman horribly tortured, raped and murdered. To her horror, these dreams become reality. Her dreams started when she was a young child .. she foresaw the deaths of people she loved. Now that she is an adult, she is still having the dreams. Only this time, she 'sees' her roommate, BJ, being killed.Jessica is so weary of not being able to do anything to change what she sees. She hired exchange for an honest and unbiased review.Mac West a security expert, to watch out for her roommate. But then, something goes terribly wrong and BJ disappears.Jessica then begins her own investigation. By the time all is said and done, Mac, a local detective, Granger, and several FBI agents are involved and they are all keeping secrets from her. She can dismiss and forgive those lies ...except for the ones from Mac. She's fallen in love and the relationship has no future when there's no trust. When I first started reading, I thought it was going to be another run-of-the-mill psychic mystery. but it's not ... it's much, much more. Jessica and Mac are finely drawn. Their relationship is a lot of lows and highs ... and both are carrying baggage. Granger is a grizzly old detective, who growls a lot, but at heart, he's really purring.I love how Jessica just charges ahead and creates her own investigation ... Mac is trying to be so protective of her, but she's having none of it. Granger keeps threatening to have her arrested ... but she's actually discovering things that none of the law enforcement guys have come across. There is a whole lot of action and excitement, especially when the killer sets his sights on Jessica ..and Jessica sees herself as a victim in a dream. The reader is taken on a ride that finds the connection between all the murders ... and the murderers. My thanks to the author, Ann Simas, and to CBR who furnished a digital copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Ties You Up
When I am looking for a suspense with romance I want it to be one that will get me so wrapped up I can not put it down until I found out the 5 W's. With this one I was given all that plus it had a little twist to it with how it all started. Jessica had dreams, every so many years that would turn out to be deadly even for the one in the dream. Problem was they were not fantasy but foretelling event that ended badly. So this time she wants to hire someone to protect her best friend before it is too late without them thinking she is loony. Mac after hesitation agrees but his business that is but the one on the watch looses her but also opens the door for a investigation that they will all get involved in. Jessica and Mac will also begin to work together building a relationship that will grow and go into a direction totally not expected. Jessica is also unique in other ways that she makes one very interesting character that I found her to be one of the main reasons I enjoyed the novel. She will also acquire another friend in all of this the officer that will be assigned to the case that is not connected to the FBI. He will remind me of the saying bark is worse than the bite type of character. This novel will also have bits of humor sprinkled in all the right places so not to make it so morbid of a story especially considering the type of murders these are. I would also say she does quite well investigating for not being in that field. The romance part of it blends very well and fits in the right places not overpowering it so not to take over the story because of the type it is. It might of took me a minute to open this one up since I have many lined up but it only took me a day to read that is how well it delivered.

Excellent read
loose ends by ann Simms. The blurb from this book intrigued me and in no way was I let down when I read it. Jessica has dreams every 6 years or deathmares as she calls them which is really what they are, I can't imagine what it would be like to see people dying in your dreams and not being able to do anything about it. Growing up wasn't easy for Jess and my heart went out to her but luckily her past helped make her stronger than she thought and tenacious with it which comes in really handy. When Jess dreams her best friend BJ is going to be the next to die she goes to a security firm for help and meets Mac who isn't willing to help at first but something draws them together and when something happens he is there to help . Detective Granger is the detective in charge of a murder case that Jess has had Deathmares of and of course he thinks Jess should leave well alone as does Mac. But imagine your in Jess's shoes what would you do? This book has achieved ion, suspense ,love and idiotic behaviour in my opinion but then I'm not sure I'd be as brave as Jess and I understand why she does the things she does and can empathise with her and also with Mac and Granger, where as BJ I'd smack her in the mouth I know people do stupid things for love but man selfish people are just that no matter what they say their reasoning is 30 years of friendship to some people obviously don't mean a lot. BJ really pissed me off as did her fella even though I cut him some slack because he was suffering. This book was well written and kept me reading late into the night I just had to know what was going to happen so thank you ann simas for an excellent read.
