The sprayer is well-designed with good quality materials. I usually quit before I completely empty a bottle. Once you pump the bottle until meeting resistance the spray lasts until most the bottle contents is gone. The bottle is small (holds 32oz) making the pumping easy. The nozzle can be adjusted from fine to a more aggressive spray. The whole sprayer can be maintained easy.

Only use the sprayer to spray neem oil on my tomato plants . Is much easier to use than my 2 gallon Smith that I have used for many years. The foaming tip was not in the box but would never use it anyways. Am happy with purchase.

This sprayer lost pressure the third time I used it. Total waste of money. The seal is bad, no matter how firm the top is screwed on, it leaks air.

I bought this the same time I bought their 2 gallon compression sprayer-great!I find this sprayer very good. Just add ( in my case Deer Out), easily pump it up, adjust the brass nozzle for spray pattern and go to work. Very nice and makes me want to repeat spraying soon!Thanks again Smith!

I now have several Smith products and this is by far the easiest to use and the most versatile for my purposes. I read the reviews and the complaints and quite frankly, do not agree w/ anything negative at all. Mine did come w/ the brass nozzle that some mentioned they did not get. So, it works, it works as advertised and it works for the purpose I bought these for. That's a win.

I've purchased three of these Smith 48oz Sprayers in both the foaming nozzle and brass tip versions. Within a month of my initial order one of the sprayers developed a crack on the bottom near the manufacturing stamp and I chalked it up to user error- maybe I dropped it, or over pressurized, could the chemical mixture have degraded the plastic? I don't know but for $20 I liked it so much that I purchased a replacement.Now a second sprayer has a hairline crack on the bottom in nearly identical location and fashion and premature failure. I do not know if both of my issues came from the same order or production batch. Today is Sept 3rd and my follow up order was delivered July 19- approximately six weeks of minimal use from an "industrial and contractor" grade tool is unacceptable. It lived upright in a Dewalt Tough System mounted in the bed of a truck that's driven on pavement and hasn't been thrown around or spiked like a football. Many of my other older, more often used professional grade tools live a much rougher existence filled with dirt and abuse but still come to work everyday- these two dead Smith sprayers had a very short, pampered lives in comparison.Two stars from me instead of a miserly One star rating because the misting ability and spray pattern, ease of use and reliability could all be categorized as more than acceptable prior to the failures I've experienced; and maaaaybe I can salvage them via plastic welding to hold the pressure- but I shouldn't have to and it won't change or increase my rating if successful.

Literally the perfect sprayer bottle for spraying down our horses. A few pumps gives this bottle plenty of spraying power and we are able to apply fly spray to 3 horses before we have to pump it up again. The quick pressure release stops the bottle from constantly dripping chemicals after using it especially on the hot days. I can't tell you how many times I have found a mess because of a spray bottle expanding in the heat and making it drip. We also purchased the kit they offer with multiple tips. The foaming tip allows you see where you have sprayed and actually saves you from wasting a lot of expensive chemicals.

I have been using chapin pump sprayers for years for concrete stains with many clog problems and pour spray pattern . This smith sprayer is well worth the extra money. I will be buying only this sprayer from now on
