Q: I bought 10 yards of this last month at $2.99! Why such a huge price jump in less than a month???

I also have no idea why it has gone up it used to be a cheap good quality material!

Q: can this be used for draping and sewing

Yes; as a matter of fact, I keep a bolt of muslin just for draping and pattern mock-ups. Be forewarned, however, that if you are going to use muslin in the actual creation of a garment, drapery lining, etc., you will want to be sure to wash/dry and iron the fabric before cutting out any pattern piece. As being a 100% cotton fabric, it will shrink!

Q: i would like to make beeswrap ...... is this material food safe?

I don’t know about bees wrap- however I use this to strain my homemade Greek Yogurt and it’s great
