It does smell good. It's a little wet when you first put it in your hair. Needs a little bit to dry. It does give you volume. Nice product overall.

I am not getting much volume from this product. It does leave your hair very soft IF used properly. All the negative reviews saying it's heavy, sticky and leaves hair tangled, I guarantee they used too much product. You need to use very little product, otherwise it will be heavy and tacky.
