Pfister Hanover 1-Handle Tub & Shower Faucet, Brushed Nickel

This Price Pfister unit arrived in perfect condition. Really like the single unitized centrally located rotating hot/cold adjustment along with the very cost saving water volume control. It's hard to believe the number of shower/tub fixtures which have no water volume control and are only "full on..full off." To us, the water waste is unbelievable. We had to search far and wide to find a tub/shower fixture like this which gave the user independent control of water volume. Definitely a major cost saver! We've had several Price Pfister fixtures which have operated trouble free for several years now and consider Moen and Price Pfister to be the "cream of the crop."

1: It was missing the thread extender. 2: It didn't have a slip fit, or a slip fit adapter to use with my shower. 3: It came with a valve (I had asked for no valve. 4: It was supposed to work on my valve set according to Pfister, but in fact did not. I spent five hours struggling with this setup. I would have liked to have used it but it was just too wrong in too many ways (listed). Fortunately, I can return it. I went with a Moen instead, and their customer service was fantastic! When I called Pfister customer service, I could not understand the person on the other end of the line, as they spoke English as a second language. I do not believe they were properly trained, and I believe honesty that that reflects upon Pfister's entire sales philosophy. Moen, on the other hand, had an American in Ohio who knew the ENTIRE product line like the back of her hand, and straightened me out on EVERYTHING. Also, they had a callback service (happening more and more) where if they're busy you punch in your phone number and you get a callback. Anyhow, I'm buying elsewhere.

this is a very nice shower set thought I was gonna get the drain stopper but despite that I really like this set it's a strong shower spray I love the way the water is regulated with the value its different very happy

It's 2 am and I just finished shutting off our main water to the house because the faucet won't shut off. I can't access the screw to take it apart so that I can access the parts inside because about two weeks ago, the handle (which is the access to the screw to start dismantling the whole thing), just broke right off. I'm annoyed that I have to even give it one star!!! And turning the temp is not smooth. I've had this for about 3 years. I'll update with how well customer service did and their warranty.

I only have the shower head installed at this point because I'm having a difficult time trying to find a plumber who will come to install just the valve and spout. The shower head is awesome. Definitely recommend this.
