Works amazing! Planted last week and already have sprouts growing! The air vents are excellent as well to control the moisture. Would recommend for anyone starting by seed.

Works great it does it job. If my plants don't thrive it has more to do with me lol. They withstand the heat pads and heat lamps perfectly and I just wash and reuse them.

These starting cells are really good, but I'm so used to cheap nursery cells that these are taking a little getting used to. The trays and cells and lids and vets all fit together really nicely though, and all of it is heavier duty than I'd expected. Even the cheezy looking plastic tools feel like a nylon-reinforced plastic, and are surprisingly nice in the hand, and comfortable to work with.The only downside is that because the cells are thicker walled than I'm used to, I'm finding it a little harder to pop the seedlings and their plugs out of the cell when it's time to transplant them.

Arrived in perfect condition and the description was accurate. I'm really happy with the size.

Smaller that I visualized. However, I have found that this compact size is perfect for strarting my seedlings in my window sil. It is actually a 3 part item, the base, seeding tray, and the lid. The base tray completely holds the seed trays and keeps the trays elevated a bit to allow adequate drainage. The seed trays are small, but deep enough for the seedling roots to grow nicely. The domed lid is good. It took some doing to get the 'humidity adjustment disc' into the top. Once in the disc works great to adjust the humidity inside the dome. The dome does not fasten to the base tray. It is sits on top of the base.A big plus are the tools that come with the trays. They are miniture and perfect for use with the trays.

As advertised, using to start garden seeds here in Michigan. Seed starter trays are plastic- are reusable- and with a due care will last for several growing seasons. No instructions are how to put together- all “assembly” is simple and self explanatory- just look at the picture. The most complicated procedure was to “click” the moisture / temperature vents in to place on humidifier covers. Do this by placing black round vent on to its position on the clear cover. Then with support on both sides of top cover around vent locating hole- pop in to place with steady light pressure all the time supporting on the underneath surface - until you feel and hear the round vent click in to place.Otherwise, you can use your own seed starting mixture, and when done transplanting seedlings - simply start over- other than seeds and “soil” none thing to replace/ repurchase. Should save me money and time. Using with a 12x 20 Suncore A3 seedling heating mat. Between heating mat and seed starting trays/ covers maintian mid 70’s temp no problem, at a lot cheaper cost of using a 1500 watt space heater - believe mat is only using 20 watts! One 12x 20 tray will fit in the middle of matt with room on ends left over. You can fit 2 14x11 growing trays on heat mat cross ways. Some of tray hangs over- yet I believe you will be able to maintain heat in both trays- 48 to 96 plants! (Note:I measured trays at their middle- tapers to a narrower bottom measurement.) so yes i would buy againOne year use follow up: Still satisfied with using this seed starting tray. Have found sitting seed starter tray , with heat pad, on foam insulation board , cut to size, greatly increases retained warmth in tray- helps those stubborn seeds sprout. When storing be careful as to not have “pressure “ on side walls of trays- will cause warping of tray. Also, store flat and no weight stack on top of them - causes stress cracks in plastic floors or walls. This cracking happened to mine, used auto gasket sealant to repair- and kept on using. Do a better job of storage in off season- wont have these problems.

These are great for starting seeds, however, the tops only sit on top, not secure, and when try to pick up, too comes off and I have spilled out quite a few, very upsetting. Would recommend as long as you know to be extra careful.
