Maypo Oatmeal Inst Maple, 14 OZ (Pack of 6)

You must have received your Maypo from the same batch as me, it was very dark and tasted awful. I have been eating Maypo for over 50 years and my six boxes were all dated best by September of 2019. The Maypo from this time frame was bad! I finally got angry about it and called the 800 number on the box to see if the recipe had changed and to complain about how bad it was. They said that they thought they had caught all the bad boxes before they were sent out but obviously they didn’t. They could not have been more apologetic and they have put me six more boxes in the mail and said I should be receiving them via UPS in just a couple of days. Still the best hot cereal ever!

I love my Maypo!!!! I used to be able to buy it in the store, but now it can't be found. I always make sure that I have Maypo for the winter months. It's a great way to start off the mornings. Maypo is not like regular oatmeal. People always say just add maple or brown sugar, you can't, it's not the same.

I can't decide, which of the two, is my all-time favorite hot cereal.Maypo (Maple), or, CoCo (Chocolate) Wheats...I love my Mapo, and I'm Cuckoo for CoCo Wheats.They both taste delicious.Maybe, you'll be able to decide a lot quicker.I'm just an 'Ol Geezer' sitting at the table - keeping score on both sides of a legal pad.I've resorted to playing 'heads,' or, 'tails' with a quarter...While eating a bowl of ---each one!

I am 70 years old, with that said I've been eating this for a very long time. I usually get it from a local small store, but they where out. So I saw it at Amazon, and ordered six boxes. Went to eat some today, ugh, it is darker, and tastes bad. I don't know what happened, if they made a change, no maple favor, kept trying to add sugar, but still tastes bad.

Classic 60's breakfast cereal, oatmeal as its supposed to be.I preferred the old style box, but of course they HAD to change it.Still the best, little milk, strawberries or banana cut up, dose of sugar on top.Then go shovel snow for hours.

Ordered this thinking it was like the original Maypo as shown in the advertised photo, but it is not. It is still good, but disappointed it is not the original as shown. I feel that it was not advertised properly.

The picture provided is not what you get. I was expecting the cream of wheat style oatmeal like it shows a picture of. Instead I got the normal oatmeal. I was very excited to get this because I haven't found it in stores for years now but was pretty disappointed with what showed up. With that being said, I'm sure the product will tastes great. Just definitely wasn't the texture I was hoping for.

Im glad you guys carry this! Hard to find anywhere now. I remember when my mother use to make Maypo. I loved it then and still do!! Now my kids will have the opportunity to enjoy it as well.
