This is easier to use than a normal bow and arrow because of the hook on the arrows. It works more like a catapult which is simple for young kids to master.The arrows are made of soft foam so there will be no accidents with anyone getting hurt. It can be used indoors (away from things that could break) and outdoors. We set upThe arrows whistle and are front weighted so get better distance. You can hear the whistle really well and if you shoot straight up you get the doppler effect as the sound goes out of ear shot then gets louder again as it returns.Perfect Christmas present.

We take these bow and arrow sets with us every time we go camping. I had to buy a second one cuz the other kid wanted one too. They're awesome. They go a long ways and the noise they make you can hear where it's going. Had to buy extra arrows cuz it gets stuck in the tree and it takes that many to knock it out Lol!. They're fun to play with!

Our 10 year old daughter loves it. It’s easy to use and fun. She played with our neighbor’s and promptly added it to her birthday list. We’ve been happy with it so far! It shoots a pretty long distance!

The media could not be loaded. I bought the Green bow for my daughter to test out. My daughter loves it. The draw is a bit difficult for now but she’s 6 and this toy is rated for older kids. The individual components of the bow feel pretty solid. It’s been about 3 wks and she still loves using it. I love the hearing the whistle of the arrows as they fly out. I shoot some arrows too when i’m with her. The advertised range is accurate. I ended up purchasing another bow for my nephew but that one only came with 4 arrows. Only thing I could think of for next round if this is upgraded would be to have a glow in the dark feature for the arrows. Definitely worth the cost and I don’t see them losing interest any time soon.
