Very sturdy
These were exactly the same size as my old ones. Should last for years. Love them.

A shock is worse than it's spark.
I had been lighting my grill for 3 or 4 years with a lighter. But when I saw this igniter, I decided now was the time. The first thing I did was put a battery in and pushed the button. I got sparks and a lesson learned. If you hold the control with your fingers close to the wires, some of the sparks light you up too.And to top (or untop) it all, when I went to remove the old igniter, the whole bottom of the grill fell out. Don't make them like they used to-it was only about 30 years old.I put the igniter on my tank-top heater. Now if I can remember about that control. It will be several months before I use it.
