Urth 82mm Star 4, 6, 8-Point Lens Filter Kit

I bought this to use when shooting concerts and it is great for lights on stage and flashlights from the crowd definitely worth the purchase

You need a bright light source to make the stars appear in the photo, for example, a flash used on a sequin dress, the sun over someones shoulder or other bright light sources in the scene.Once attached to your lens, you can rotate the filter to adjust the orientation of the produced star effect.Its not a filter you would use all the time but can add some visual interest to bright spots in the image. So its definitely nice to have in your kit bag, for when you want to add a little something extra.I've included one of the first photo's I took with the 6 point star filter for reference to the effect it produces. You can increase the size of the effect (which is visible on your camera display) by increasing the brightness or size of the light source. Here I purposely dipped the sun behind the shoulder for a more subtle effect.

These are great - the company is great. The build quality is fabulous - just make sure you don't cross-thread them when screwing them on. Highly recommended.

Very nice presentation. All three types of star filters screw together in a handy package with end caps provided. They look well-made and they do what one expects of x4, x6 and x8 star cross filters. Also, unlike some well-known brands of filters I’ve bought recently and over the years, they were absolutely clean and spotless out of the box. Great value.
