Bathtub Safety Rail with Sure-Grip (19" Height)

I love this bathtub safety handle! At 68, I am a bit unsteady on my feet and had become very nervous about getting in and out of the tub. This was so simple to install and did not require much strength from me. It's very sturdy. Try as I can, I cannot make it wobble. My favorite part of it is the blue rubber covering at the top that makes it so easy to hold. This is substantial, thick rubber that actually has tiny screws inset at the ends holding it to the metal, so it will not come loose. Plus the top is wide enough for me to use both hands to steady myself. Kudos to the manufacturer!

I had extensive back surgery done and needed a grip for tub to get my legs over the side and for stability in the shower. I selected this safety rail because it has a rubber grip on top so my hand wouldn't slip if the rail got wet. I'm glad I did as my hand doesn't move on the river grip. My husband installed it in lest than a minute. It doesn't move or get loose on the tub side. Just love it, and will keep it on even after my legs get stronger! And shipping was very quick, so that was an added bonus!

I am a Invalid I had a walk-in tub and Shower when we lived in Nashville Tennessee but was solid with my Sons Home. We moved back to Southern California. My Son bought a Home in a Country club here. I purchased this to help me get into the Tub I had purchased first another one not quite like this. Not happy with it. Yours is Great🤗 Going to order another just like this one. This works very well. I bought it for my elderly mother to help her get in and out of the shower. She used to struggle, but now she can get in and out with no problems. Highly recommend it, it gives me a little peace of mind knowing that her chances of falling down again getting out of the shower are little. Thanks!

Actually, I have not used the Bathtub Safety rail, because I found a different product that would fit my old bathtub. It is well made, and has a good gripping surface to the tub, as well and a good height and a nonslip handle. So I'm giving it 5 stars because if it fits the tub, it will work well. I do not recommend it for yanking on to get out of a tub. It is for stabilizing while stepping in and out of a tub.

This product is extremely unsafe. It does not hold on your bathtub and slides off. It is particularly bad when it is wet at all, and my bathtub is not very tall. I did have it tightened down all the way, but if I took hold of it just to steady myself, it went right or left on the wall of the bathtub. A person cannot use it to pull themselves out of the tub per the instructions, and it should only be used to steady yourself...but it does not work and is in fact scary! So I returned it.

My 92 year old mother swears by these. Installs in minutes and are very sturdy. I weigh over 200 lbs. and can't get them to budge. My mom uses her bath all the time now, whereas before she was hesitant to get in the tub. 2 thumbs up.

This is a very well-made and solid product.… I highly recommend it… The grip is extremely necessary as it gives you extra support. Most definitely a five star product.

Years ago I bought a handle for my mother's tub and frankly it was a pain to install and it left marks on the tub. This device is simple and easy, you don't have to use any special tools. You place it where you need it and twist the nob. You can adjust it just as easily if you find it will work better in a slightly different position and it stays right where you put it. Well worth the money.

Needed a grab bar for bathtub, to feel more secure getting in and out, and could not put in a wall fastened bar and did not trust suction wall bars for security.this looked good and sturdy and somewhat adjustable.it is VERY HEAVY!. if you accidentally knocked this against a tub, it might damage the tub. as tub sides are all very different, one needs to measure the width, this is flexible but not wide enough for our tub, i thought it would be, but was wrong.Yes, very sturdy and if you can get it to fit, it could be useful. one needs to be strong to just lift if in place and i can see possibly damaging the tub surface by just trying to maneuver it in place as we are seniors and not overly adept.now, i will just have to donate it to my neighborhood thrift shop as i cannot return it

Got this for my mom who has a high bathtub and who has cancer with mobility issues. This is a necessity for older people who have to get into a bathtub. It is even more sturdy than I had hoped. It is a huge boost for her to be able to take a bath without assistance getting in and out. Installation was very simple, plenty of padding as to not damage the tub while still having a solid mounting (no play in the handle). Highly recommended it.

Looks exactly like the picture except I was not expecting it to be so heavy. Feels well built and sturdy with metal bracket. Definitely recommend attaching it to a metal tub vs fibre glass. It screws on until snug and I would be hesitant to tighten it too much for fear of cracking the tub. Definitely only for getting your balance and would not suggest using it to pull yourself up or out of your tub.

I got this one because it was a bit taller than my original one. It works well. It does what its supposed to. Just one thing. IF you have a bit of a lip on your tub wall, be prepared to place something underneath it. I've been shopping for a decent handle, and this is the best one, fitting wise, so far
