Der Karten-Chip muss beim Einstecken nach oben zeigen. Das Kartenlesegerät benötigte keine Treiberinstallation, es wurde auch an einem USB-Hub innerhalb weniger Sekunden erkannt, nachdem der USB-A-Stecker eingesteckt wurde.Es wurde erfolgreich getestet mit folgender Ausstattung:Betriebssystem: MS Windows 11 Enterprise, Version 10.0.22631 Build 22631Smart-Card-Typ: PKI-Card ("VW CardOS 5.3") der Volkswagen AGDie Versandverpackung des Lieferanten war angemessen (Pappumschlag) und auch für eine Rücksendung geeignet.Im Februar 2024 kostete das Gerät EUR 19,80. Wenn wegen "Amazon Prime" keine Versandkosten dazukommen, ist das ein noch angemessener Preis. üblich sind um die 15 Euro.
