Seems to work with a Fire stick
I ordered this for my parents, but they didn't recognize what it was because it was different from the intended product, and put it away. After checking it myself, I realized we received a "Mission Power Battery Base for Amazon Echo" rather than the "Mission Power USB Cable for Powering Roku".Have used the product myself before and is fine, but absolutely expect better service than this.EDIT:Got in touch with Amazon support, and was able to arrange a return for the product. That aside, the first cable I ordered works without a problem. Am using it for a Fire TV stick rather than a Roku Stick, but works all the same.

I gave it 3 stars just because it's a great idea even though I can't use it
I have not used this because it was not clear in the discription that it only works on Roku stick and not Premium models. For the $6 bucks that it cost it is not worth returning. I gave it 3 stars just because it's a great idea even though I can't use it.

Didn't Do What It Was Intended To Do
It didn't work for me. When I initially received the Roku 3600r from Amazon I set it up using the USB charging cable that came with the unit. The installation and setup went without a hitch and the unit didn't balk at the power supplied by the TV's USB port through the Roku supplied cable. The reason I bought this cable was to eliminate the excess cord that was dangling below the bottom of the TV. When I installed this cable however, I got a message from the Roku that the USB port wasn't supplying the power necessary to run the unit and that I should connect it to an AC outlet. I removed this cable and replaced it with the original and everything is working well again. (By the way, I did what I should have done in the first place and bundled the loose cable with a rubber band so it can't be seen anymore.

might not meet your needs
Bought this to go with my roku for streaming Amazon on to tv. Was an unnecessary purchase. A good power source was already provided by roku. This one did not allow room for product to come to the front of the tv, where it needs to be. Perhaps meant for other uses. Watch out for other offers available. Thought I was going to save another cord from coming off the entertainment table

This works great for my Fire Stick
This works great for my Fire Stick. My only (minor) complaint is that my TV flashes an annoying "You have a new HDMI input, would you like to connect?" Because the stick now powers on with the TV's USB power, it's always recognized as a new input.

Was told by the manufacturer this would work with my Amazon Fire TV Stick. It does! Works great! Exactly what I needed so I didn't have to pack an extension cord for travel!
