I'm very pleased with the cool mist humidifier. It is a small desk or table top style. It is great for a small nursery room, if your sitting in your living room or office area it is small enough to fit most any where. It produces a good mist amount, does not drip or spill (a hugh plus). As another reviewer mentioned, it does come with 3 extra hard durable filters containing some type of beads. I agree, don't know why, but was very happy to get. 3 scented sachets are also included, nice... I guess you could use in your garment drawers. I purchased the oils that was said "other it's customers brought with this item." I don't recommend you buy the oils as this unit does not appear to have a compartment to accommodate oils. I wouldn't want to mess up the functionality by putting oils directly in the water container. It does have a light with a good variety of soft colors to choose from that may blend well with your room. The light can be turned off which is good to be able to control. It is discreet, has a good length plug in cord, the amt of mist can be controlled at the sitting. If you place it at the lowest setting, the mist WILL last through the night. If you're looking for a large capacity with large output, of course this will not meet your needs. Note: I would consider this a "non-filter" unit. The plastIc item I referred to as a filter is the cap that twist on to lock the water chamber. I guess it looks like a filter with hard smooth pebbles inside. I would say it's a permanent cap that maintains filtration of the water. As far as the price, I would say a little on the high side for this. I think the extra stuff they throw in makes up the difference & justifies the cost. Oh, It is very quiet. All & all it serves my purpose.

So far this has been great. Second night running the humidifier here in southern California where humidity is about as elusive as catching a glimpse of a big foot, and second morning of waking up without a headache. I can't tell you how wonderful that feels. Also I thought I'd leave the light on this thing turned off but I actually like the changing colors. It's a nice night light and it doesn't disrupt my sleep. The only thing I've noticed I don't like is the motor has a bit of a high pitched whine. It's ever so slight though. I also run a sound machine for better sleep so do not hear it when that is on.Also a comment about some of the criticism that the humidifier does not last through the night: it's all about placement. This is a smaller personal sized humidifier in my opinion. I will easily get 3 night's use out of it before having to refill and that's on a 2/3 full tank. How? Because I run it I low and have it on a nightstand next to me bed. If it's going to be run on high and expected to humidify an entire room, of course it will run out of water. It only holds 2.5L, just as the description says. This is not the humidifiers issue - it's a user issue. Just be wise about how and where you use it.

This is a great little unit. Super quiet and a nice compact size. The water tank is a little small so expect frequent refills when in use. We only run it during the overnight hours and at medium flow the tank is empty in the AM.The glowing LED nightlight feature is awesome with many color options including a color shift option which runs all of color options of the nightlight. The nightlight is surprising bright. Once our eyes adjust to darkness we've found that the light from the unit is too bright to sleep with.One little hack is to place an old ball cap over the unit with the hat bill facing down to the ground. Use an adjustable size hat and place humidifier output in the opening at the back of the hat by the adjustment strap so the humidifier can still function as intended. This creates an awesome dimming shield that can be rotated as needed to redirect the humidifier flow or light. This worked great with our little one so she doesn't get woken up by the light but we can still have the night light feature on to give us just enough light to navigate our room. Note that i say old ball cap because the moister may destroy the hat through time. We wash the hat every week to avoid mold or other build up.

I use this every night next to my bed to add some moisture to the air since my bedroom gets dry in the winter with the heater going.It is very quiet and gives off a stream of moist air. I put it on a stand though right NEXT to my bed so I can feel the cool mist. I refillit every night and try and do it in the morning so I don't forget. If you fill it full before using it...it will last pretty much all night long.I use regular tape water and each morning dump out the old water and refill with fresh. I also sometimes wipe off the inside.My only complaint is that if you try and place the top onto the base and the outside is "wet" it can slip and sometimes I pinch myfinger trying to place it just right on the base. But it's no big deal and usually just pops right on once you align it properly. If twopeople could benefit from it I would suggest getting one for each side of the bed as one doesn't give off enough moisture to filla bedroom.

Just arrived and on time, been running it for several hours now and it (doesn't) seem to send the oil scent out like I had hoped for. I was also hoping to add vicks vapo steam to the water but told myself not to since the instruction clearly state not to add any oil to the water and vicks vapo has a oil base to it. The unit works well but for some reason at times starts flashing red and turns off, but when I give the water tank a slight turn it comes on, runs well then runs off again... I turned it off to check water level and she's a bit messing to handle, water runs of steam spout and things get a bit messy, no big deal because she doesn't leak from her main tank. whoever couldn't find cause of red flashing light so I capped her water level off, it was a (quarter full) with more water and so far so good. .. Wish there was a customer service number to ask a few basic questions since the red flashing light wasn't in trouble shooting section..

I found this product very good comparatively. The size of this product is small but produce enough mist for my 10x12 feet room.I have used others cold humidifier also of some different brand and it is much better than those.Overall good product. Little bit costly compare to what others are providing but it is worth when you compare mist flow and finish.Power cord is US based so you have to buy adapter for same.
