This is really bad quality. Knife rusted so easily and fast and I am about to throw it away. I have been using it for 6 months only. I have knives from 10 years - no rust. Bad quality metal and bad buy.

Beautiful knife ! I always wanted a high quality knife . I have a chef knife for most of my cutting , but I wanted a Japanese knife for precision cutting . This knife is perfect !! The handle is beautiful and it is razor sharp. The reviews are on point , a great knife for common use .The packaging was gorgeous. My son commented ‘It looks like a Harry Potter wand box’If you are looking for a day to day knife , this may not be the knife for you . Japanese knives are very thin, you may want to look for a German knife (I have a Wusthoff Chef’s Knife). If you are looking for a precision knife for soft vegetables- this is the one.
