Great Quality but there are better
These are a very great quality for ArtShows. They fold and have a carrying bag! Easy to store away under a bed or closet shelf. I ordered one just to check it out and I easily put a 30x40 canvas on it to test. The price increases by $5 a week later so I will try another brand.Update: After testing their s brand against UhuHu, I lowered to 4 star because the other brand is much more sturdier at full length. The legs on UhuHu at more sturdier and Mande of a less flexible material. Plus they are about $3 less.

Light weight and stable.
Very light weight and surprisingly sturdy. I was looking for a product that was inexpensive yet stable. Also I wanted something that I could elevate it to six feet and this was the only one that could get this high.Once I set it up, I was pleasantly surprised that it was quite stable. Set up was pretty easy. I didn't use directions, and I'm not sure it even had any. Once I set it up, I put a canvas on it and it held the canvas well. Its stability was almost surprisingly good. Excellent for traveling, because it's so light.I think I would recommend it to friends who are beginning painters.I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try their hand at painting.

Not really an easel.
I really don't like the fact that there is no way to fix the back leg..so if, say someone accidentally kicks it or slightly pushes it, it just folds up and falls over. What's the point of an easel that doesn't securely hold your art in progress? Also, the hold bar has a raised edge in the front to hold things in place, which is too narrow for an actual easel. Sure, it's probably great as a display stand for poster boards that are thin, but then don't advertise it as an easel. MMy 30x40 wouldn't fit length-wide (so 40" doesn't fit into the grip) I'm also not sure about the top grip, as it's springy and closes quite tightly - I feel like with enough time it will dent an canvas. I wasn't going to chance it.Anyway, like I said, I'm sure this is great as a display stand for the price, apart from the whole falling over at any wrong motion toward it thing, but this shouldn't really be advertised as an art easel..Here's a photo of the difference between the bottom hold tray width and a 24x30 deep edge canvas. With the thin metal lip pointing up, I'm pretty sure it would dent the bottom of the canvas eventually. Sure, it's not the visible part, but still..Im probably returning this just as soon as I can find something better.

Great easel, easy to transport and set up/tear down!
I purchased this easel as a stand for my home office whiteboard, to keep my "to do" and client list in front of me at all times - I just work better that way. I searched for a long time and rejected other choices because they were either too flimsy or not large enough to hold my large whiteboard. This easel was the first one I found that had all the features I wanted: sturdy, metal construction, adjustable height, and a way to hold my whiteboard in place on the easel. Plus, it sets up and tears down quickly and easily, and comes with its own carrying bag.

Great quality for a very unique use !
These are really nice ! Great quality, and the spare parts are a nice bonus. I bought these to hold up my plywood targets for pellet gun scope sighting and accuracy out in the woods. The legs can adapt to the uneven ground. They are strong enough to hold up the 2 x 4 plywood. They are light weight and easy to put up and down in the woods. The legs adjust exactly the same as my quality camera tripod legs - very nicely. The zipper bag that comes with each easel is strong, made of a good tight nylon weave, and each has an adjustable nylon strap for carrying. They quickly fold back up and stow away. 5 nice stars and they arrived in record time.

Buy this, you’ll use it over and over
I Purchased this easel to display a welcome sign at my best friends bridal shower. I couldn’t be more happy with it, and I’m definitely keeping it to use for future events. It was super easy to put together, offered many different options to customize height, and the travel case made it so easy to store. Plus the price point was much better than I found a local craft stores or Staples. I highly recommend

Awful, broken item
Horrible item. Seller said it was in acceptable condition with only cosmetic damage, but came in smashed, unusable, completely broken condition. Nearly every plastic part was smashed. I won't be asking for a replacement, because now I have a good idea of the extremely fragile nature of this easel. Now I'm going to end up behind schedule and spend time from my busy day returning this. Not recommended.

I thought that this easel would be too flimsy but I was so wrong.
Whilst still in its own zip up bag, I thought that this easel would be too flimsy for what I needed it for, so lightweight. But I was wrong. From opening the zip up bag it comes in to complete assembly was quick and so easy. The instructions were followable and had drawings to show certain points. It’s a little like a camera tripod in the adjustment of lengthening and shortening the legs. Handy for when positioning on a tabletop or on the floor.I set this up to hold a menu board. The board sits firmly in the bottom bar and is held in place with the clamp area at the top. If you are using it as an easel for artwork then I would suggest placing it out of the way of any wind or weighing it down with a sand bag or similar hung over the stability cross bar. As you can see from my pictures it can hold a large board but it could also hold something smaller like a Welcome or This Way sign for events. This is going to get a lot of use… I may even put it in the hallway for messages for my kids as they come in the door from school… 1st Child: Empty the bins… 2nd Child: Remove all the empty glasses from your rooms and put them in the dishwasher… oooooh I am so going to have fun with this.

A good and versatile lightweight easel - just a bit of a faff to assemble...
This Artify black metal easel is versatile in terms of the fact that it can be used as a table top version or a much taller easel and is adjustable between a range of 22" to 67". It's described as 'double tier' because the canvas or item to be displayed may be clamped both at the top and bottom providing a secure and stable surface on which to work. You'll see even on Amazon that cheaper products are available but in many cases you're losing functionality as the specifications of this easel are very good. Though it could be used as an aid for producing artwork, this easel could equally well be used as a means by which to display a picture or even a board welcoming guests to a wedding or garden party and as it's secured top and bottom the sign would be safe. Hold in place with sandbags if it's a breezy day as it's lightweight and only weighs 1kg - though it will carry loads up to 5 times this and up to 1.1" thick. It will fold down very compactly in the carrying bag supplied. The weak point here is the assembly. It is rather awkward and fiddly. Once the easel's put together, it is a good item and scores on grounds of portability in terms of being lightweight - but you'd need to keep a screwdriver handy. Not sure I'd want to use it en plein air - but for the price it is very good, just maybe with some small reservations and limitations.

The bar needs to go on the side where the middle leg doesn't point or it won't tilt backwards.
This is a sturdy metal easel which has a great deal of flexibility in use as it's got two height adjustment clips plus the angle and the holder bar and top position all are alterable. The easel just misses top marks and only just, since the issue is fairly minor. It concerns the bar that the painting or paper must rest on. The bar is east enough to insert using it's holes which a multiple so as to allow positioning higher up the front legs or not. It is the 2 clamps one on each of the front legs which hold the screws it clips onto which are the problem. They need tightening at the back but the screws are small and need tightening a lot of they are yo bear any weight. So they keep slipping until they are turned very tight. There needs to be bigger screws to grab a hold of or wingnut or similar style that can easily be turned. So this can be adjusted for picture or paper height but it takes longer than needed and you need to be careful to do the rear clamp screws up good and tight or you might find the holder bar slips down.
