I have a very old Sharp Aquos LC-45GX4U TV (from 2006, I believe) that refuses to die. The original remote's volume button became very hard to raise or lower the volume (required very firm and deliberate pressure). I purchased an exact remote (albeit just as old) on eBay for $20 a few years ago that worked well, but it eventually had the same volume rocker button issue. I took a chance on this very inexpensive remote, and whoa! .... it worked right out of the box on the TV (absolutely no programming on my part). The main buttons we use are the power, input, volume, and occasionally the channel button to watch OTA stations. It doesn't have all the functions of the original remote, but we use the TV mainly as a monitor for a Roku device so additional functionality is moot. The larger volume rocker button on the SH-13+L remote works effortlessly and reliably. Highly recommended replacement.

Took a while to program it and when you turn on the tv with it you have to point directly at the TV and press the button several times before it works. I only use it to turn the TV on so since it's limited its ok, but if I had to use it for anything else I would buy something more substantial.

Perfect replacement for Sharp Smart TV. The puppy destroyed the original. Just install the batteries and start using. What a value. A replacement remote which is fully functional.

I was given a small tv with no remote. I ordered this based on the reviews and they were right! I pointed it at the TV and it worked!

I loaded 2 AAA batteries, pushed the buttons and the TV worked. No adjustments needed.
