Love my new soap making hobby - Silicone is Easy to Use!
Ⓠ Who Would Buy This?⇢ I use silicone molds because they are really easy to use, but are also sturdy and flexible at the same time.Ⓠ What Do You Get?⇢ 2 Silicone "100% Home Made) Soap MoldsⓆ My Thoughts?⇢ I have just started getting into making soaps and lotions. I have tried different types of molds including wood and silicone. I like silicone because it is flexible and easy to use. I do find that soap takes a little longer to harden because of the lack of air circulation compared to other ones. Using sodium lactate in your recipe will help out greatly when working with silicone molds. It is a liquid salt that helps produce a harder bar of soap so it will last longer; along with helping the soap harden quicker in the mold. It cuts down the process that would normally take 4 days to only 1 or 2 days. I add 1 tsp. of it per pound of oils in my recipe. Silicone is also easy to clean and care for. When your soap is done and you remove it from the mold you can just use soap and hot water to clean them.✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Pros:👍 Flexible but sturdy👍 Easy Clean Up👍 Quality MaterialsCons:✘ Soap does not dry as fast✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Ⓠ Product Review⇢ Silicone Soap MoldsⓆ Company⇢ FettleBotanicalⓆValue for money: 💰💰💰💰 Excellent!.If you found this review to be helpful, PLEASE click 👉 “YES”. High quality Silicone
At around $10 I feel the price is slightly high for two molds. But I must say the quality of the silicone was much thicker than I was expecting and the mold was much deeper than I was expecting as well. The molds are fairly small. Perfect for a guest soap or a generous sample size. But I cannot argue how adorable they are.I have been working up some soap and essential oil recipes for a craft fair coming up in two months but had been unsuccessful in finding the right mold that can with stand the E.O.These did a great job. They took the heat perfectly. They took the oil perfectly. Once hard they popped out perfectly. They left zero residue behid and cleaned up nice.I think I'll be using these molds mostly for a great gifts. I was able to get these for evaluation purposes.
