O'NEILLMen's Basic Skins UPF 50+ Long Sleeve Rash Guard

Bought this for a holiday in Hawaii. Used it almost everyday, it was comfortable and light to wear and protected me from the sun. I'd just wash it in the shower at night and by next morning it'll be dry. Material is strong, it helped prevent scratches from coral without any damage.I'm 171cm, 80kg, average body built. M fit well.

This long sleeve rash guard shirt worked perfectly for snorkeling. It provided the sun protection needed and was long enough to cover the back very well while swimming. The material quality and brand recognition are high quality. The fit is tight, so you may consider ordering a size bigger as I did. It was still very form fitting.

Nice authentic O'Neill Basic Skins L/S Crew Rashguard. I purchased item #3342-262 Fog Blue. There are so many different O'Neill Rashguards on amazon it gets very confusing. Please note that the picture for #3342-262 is NOT correct. Amazon actually pictures item #4339-262 which is the Basic Skins L/S Rash Tee. The #4339 Tee looks more like a long sleeve T-shirt not an actual Rashguard. The actual O'Neill Rashguard I ordered #3342 is their "Basic" low cost item and fits extremely tight as designed. According to O'Neill's website the Baskic Skins Crew is "Form fitting tight layer fits like a second skin" and it sure does! I am 5'8" 165 lbs 33" waist with an athletic build and I ordered a Large. I normally wear a large regular T-shirt. This thing is tight and almost difficult to take on and off but it fits as designed. If you have a belly or doughnut roll, it will show! So if you are self concious about your body, know that every little flaw will show even if you order 1 or 2 sizes larger. This fits like a compression shirt. If you want something a little more forgiving, then maybe order the #4339 Rash Tee instead. I suggest going to O'Neill's website and look at the various Rashguards listed under wetsuits to determine what item you want. Then make sure to scroll down to Technical Details in the Amazon description and match the Style number with O'Neill's actual item number because the pictures on Amazon are not always correct. The #3342-262 I received from Amazon looks exactly like the item pictured on O'Neill's website. The only negative I found as mentioned by another reviewer is the collar has a regular stitch, not a flat stitch. All the other stitches are flat stitches, except for the collar. The material is 86% Polyester and 14% Elastane with 50+ Ultraviolet Protection. Made in China. Enjoy.

This is a very nice swim shirt. The material is light, breathable, and quite stretchy. I chose the long sleeve version because I don't like slathering on sun block, and this shirt provides 50 SPF protection from the sun. The shirt fits like a second skin (think compression shirt).The O'Neill logo is all over this shirt: across the chest, behind the neck, and on the left arm. This thing is super stretchy, and it's a good thing that it is because this shirt is REALLY TIGHT. I had some trouble putting it on and even more trouble taking it off. When it's wet, forget about taking it off or putting it on- because it's impossible! The material seems durable and that's good. Because I have to pull on the shirt really hard to take it off put it on. I'm 5'10" tall 175 lbs. and I bought the Large eventhough the Amazon sizing chart recommended Medium for me. I should've returned it for an XL, but i needed it for a trip in 2 days and it took 1 1/2 weeks for this to come in the mail. Oh well, I'll wear it until it rips then buy another one in XL or maybe in XXL for a looser, more comfortable fit

Love the quality of the fabric, it has some thickness to it, definitely not thin and cheap. Wore for scuba diving and it was great protection in the water and out of the water. No chafing from my scuba gear at all. The fit runs small, so consider that if you like a loose fit or a tight fit.

Rash guard works well and size chart seemed good for me. I am 5'10" and 145lbs, the size S fit me well.I used this to SCUBA dive in Florida Keys in July and worked well. It was an 87 degree day and when I got out of water after my two dives and was in the sun (I got the black rash guard), I did not get hot since it was wet and the water was evaporating. I was on the boat and it was moving so there is that.Seems like good material to keep you from getting scratched up if you accidentally bumped against the coral (I did not) but yet it was not too thick or anything like that, I felt I moved very easily.Not sure how easy you could put a wetsuit on over this (will find out some other time) but seems like it would easily slide on over this rash guard with no problem.The rash guard also looks good! (a bonus) All you could want in a rash guard.If you prefer a looser fitting rash guard, I would order a size up. Mine was not too tight but just right for my needs of tight enough to not get tangled or caught on my gear, but not cutting off any circulation, getting red marks ,or anything crazy like that. A good sort of stretchy type of material if that makes senseI would definitely buy this again!

My husband has always worn a size Small in this brand. Unfortunately, I am on try #3 to get the right size. He tried small….it was like a child size. Tried medium - that is going back now also. Perhaps the large will be the winner. There should be a way to regulate the sizes better. From a small to a large? Love the quality, but a pain in the toosh to deal with this huge size gap.

This color is so nice. It offers great sun protection while we were surfing in Costa Rica and also while doing outdoor work in Australia. It is comfy and easy to pack. It has gotten lots of use and stays in great shape.
