I like the outcome of my burgers and other meats cooked in a griddle retains more of the moisture like a flat top in a restaurant kitchen.

I had high hopes for the product as an accessory to my new Napoleon pp665. First off, I should’ve know something was wrong when I set a magnetic temperature gauge on top of the griddle to carry to the grill and the magnet stuck to the stainless steel. That was the first indicator that this stainless steel grill was not stainless steel. Then I used it twice and it is now fully rusting. Even with a high temp Cook off the. Scrapping and then washing and drying. After a second use it’s rusted!That was just the beginning. Using it twice on top of the grill grates. Both times the unit full warped under heat, raising at least 25% of the griddle off the grill top. The warping caused a massive rocking action and uneven cook. The first time I made smash burgers and while very difficult to manage the rocking action they turned out great. So I decided to give it another go. The second time was bacon and pancakes. Boom same thing happened. You hear the metal stressing and then bam it’s warped. Each time it falls back in place after cooling.The grease trap also leaks. Causing flare ups.I am sorry to say this unit is complete junk and definitely not made with the materials that it claims to be made with.

Despite closing my gas grill, with burners on high, the griddle did not reach and maintain a sufficient temperature for meat and vegetables to sizzle and begin to caramelize. Even shrimp were slow to cook and onions took nearly 30 minutes to begin to caramelize.

I was really wanting this to work but it failed. The metal warped quickly and I had to cook on a crooked surface. It was so lopsided and everything was falling out. I was so disappointed.
