5" 8GB Sat Nav Car Truck HGV GPS Navigation System Free POI UK EU Maps Speedcam Updates

Just received the sat nav so my thoughts so far a lot of device features I don't need instruction book is not straight forward to follow personality I'm not keen on the stylus pen to switch between features I'm sure with use it will become easier to use

This satnav does what it says on the box and at the price is a resonably good deal but. The input is cumbersome. You need to enter a town etc before entering a postcode. Why can it not leave the country as a default setting and just need a postcode? The screen mount is not the old standard ball typr connection to the unit. Then it can be used with the good old "bean bag" steup to sit on the top of the dash and avoid suction pad rings on the screen. Tried updating according to the instruction in the box. They are useless and take you off to some odd site to get the download. Asked the question via Amazon as had established the my unit was not shipped with the latest version. Sent a link to download a fresh set of instructions. Much better although a bit ambiguous in places. followed link and download started. After about 4 hours it had completed I would guess about 90% and crashed. Left two Zip folders one of which was showing as empty. The other had a file of about 5 gb which would not open. Tried three times with the same result. Will keep unit as only need it for local addressess most of which are old established schools and colleges. Will us phone or partners car with built in satnav which is updated free by the garage during a service in future.

I'm finding this quite difficult to use, as it's not retaining the information, and isn't using the correct MAPS referencing so have found myself being told to turn around as have gone wrong, PLUS the booklet doesn't give enough INFO on how to obtain further other features except for what has been described are available, unless you attach a USB which isn't provided with the product!!!

We are struggling to use this GPS. Always had a Tom Tom.Feel we can't negotiate around the system at all.

Can’t get any audio warning for speed cambs even it says in the description also nothing mentioned in the booklet how to fix the problem all around not good value for the price

Bought as part of a bundle that included this front facing dash cam.Really easy to install and set up with various options available in the menu.I was so pleased that I have just received a second set up that includes front and rear cameras this time around.Highly recommended.

Was abroad when sat nav arrived, home late last night, only put it in vehicle 10 minutes ago, cant really comment as not used as yet, thank you
