Love em!!They work pretty well! Soft ground is obviously a plus with these. I fish rivers with current, and I'm pretty happy with these.

Works great.. so good the first time I used ...
Works great..so good the first time I used one I left it on the beach so I'm ordering a few more. When it's folded up it fits anywhere. I used it with a 8'6" surf rod which works great, and when I head into the mountains it's a great excuse to put a line in the water while camp gets set up. All though a few more inches would be nice...like always.

Good concept, but rusted quickly
I loved the compact but expandable concept of these and even enjoyed them few times, till they rusted and would not open any more.
