Avoid. Go to your dealership.
Not OEM quality.Product is made in China not Germany like the original Audi thermostat.Sensor is a different colour than original part.Unit seemed to not be assembled correctly resulting in the o ring being crushed.Item was sent back for a refund and I purchased a genuine Audi thermostat from my dealer for the same price as this unit.

Be careful - some of these are Mis-manufactured
I had to contact the factory because 2 of these were machined to the wrong dimensions on the outlet pipe.Seems they had a run of these that were built with too small outlet pipe dimension and the hose leaks.I received a refund and went with the factory part, but I lost my labor for having to do the job twice, plus the time spent figuring out just what was wrong

Es tut was es soll aber...
das Alte von Mahle wurde knapp 5 Jahre alt. Das Neue tut logischerweise wieder, was es soll. Beim Alten war die Heizeinheit defekt, weil sich beide Kabel gelöst haben und das Thermostat war auch defekt. Es war auch sehr dünne Käbelchen an der Heizeinheit verbaut. Was mich allerdings wundert ist, das die Ware von Behr war, obwohl Mahle drauf steht und es wurde am Thermostatgehäuse etwas vorher weg gefräst. Nun gut, wir werden sehen, wie lange das Teil nun hält. Danach werde ich entscheiden, ob es ein anderer Hersteller werden wird...
