Faustina
Starting with the subtitle, Saint for Our Times, this book on Faustina makes clear that the mission prescribed by Jesus to be The Apostle of Mercy is what the world is unknowingly crying out to receive. Father Kosicki's clarity of presentation helps all readers to recognize their longing and how they can act on it by following the lessons drawn from the heartfelt conversations between Jesus and Sr. Faustina.Through her relationship with Jesus and her commitment for "God and Souls" we are led through the writing of Father Kosicki to appreciate Faustina's spirituality. Its power brought the admiration of Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI because they saw Mercy as man's only hope, yet an attribute so readily available to all who but Trust in Him.I will read this book again and again - not because it is hard to understand but because its simplicity and truth touch my soul to a depth that I want to experience.Thank you Father Kosicki and David Came for helping the world to know why St. Faustina is the Saint for Our Times.

If you want a good overview of Divine Mercy
If you want a good overview of Divine Mercy, this is an excellent starting point. Have this hardback & both the hardback copy of Divine Mercy and the Kindle version: The Divine Mercy for Everyman, which is a word for word copy of the paper back. After reading the Hardback Diary for over 2 yrs I find I can only read a few pages and must put down because I am overwhelmed with the intimacy between Faustina and the Lord Jesus. Her relationship with Jesus, as she recalls in her diary, is the most beautiful and inspiring message I've heard since my conversion over 40 years ago. Have been in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal since 1972. St Faustina is a saint for our time.

Inspirational and Informative
Easy style to read. The biography was brief, informative, and inspirational. It was followed by interesting, well-documented history of the Divine Mercy devotion. All in all, a brief and very inspirational examination of the origins and development of the devotion which invites all to the Lord's unfathomable and glorious mercy.

Great Book About Saint Faustina and our times
I love this book. I first read it in 2012, and I just read it again in 2022, and it means more to me now than it did in 2012, and it meant a LOT to me then. I believe that Fr. George Kosicki is a Saint. I had the privilege of meeting him at Catholic Family Land in 2003. I HOPE that Amazon will keep this book in stock and have a kindle version available very soon. this book is timeless and SO VERY NECESSARY for our time in history.

Jesus I trust in you.
This is a good introduction to St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy Devotion. The book is easy to read and practical.I had read an article on the Jubilee Year of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis and ties to St. Faustina. One of the comments on the article was that St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy devotion are "old fashioned spirituality." I asked a friend who is knowledgeable about the topic to recommend a book and this was the one that he gave me. The book has helped me to see that the devotion is deeply rooted in Christ and the Blessed Mother. I would call this "timeless spirituality" not "old-fashioned." The devotion is a gift to the Church in out time and likely for generations to come, and more. Each chapter has a helpful focus either on the earthly life and mission of St. Faustina, her spiritual life, the blending of the spiritualities of East and West in the devotion, and our response to the call for mercy. It concludes with Divine Mercy Prayers and important dates in the life of Sr. Faustina and the devotion. This is all done in about 150 pages so the book is a good introduction. There are also recommendations for people who want to read more.I highly recommend the book.
