This is the 2nd time ordering these. They are good and they are real miswak. All miswak "shed" the outer layer so you can chew to soften the bristles.They even sell these at the Arab store in my city but I chose to buy them on Amazon

Not happy
I'm not sure if this is real miswak, but these shred very easily. As I use them on my teeth, tiny pieces of it constantly shred and fall off into my mouth. So I have to rinse my mouth out and spit out all the pieces each time I use it. Also, the entire bark comes off like a skin. Is that normal? I have purchased real miswak in the Middle East and never had this problem. With miswak I bought from abroad, I can use it and it doesn't peel or shred in my mouth and I don't need to rinse my mouth out after but with this kind it is extremely messy and basically falls apart as I'm using it... Feel like I wasted my money.
