Great Tool, a little pricy
Tool is well made and works great. I adjusted 21 hinges (7 doors) in less than 30 minutes. I think it’s overpriced for what it is, but considering the time it saved me, I’m not complaining!

A supper money maker. Quick, easy, reliable, quality made.
Excellent product which allows you to quickly fix sagging interrior or exterrior doors without removing the hinge pins. We have several types of theses devices and this one is the best by far. We typically adjust several doors a month for clients and this one has worked flawlessly without leaving and scratches or marks on the hinges. This device has paid for it'sself within the first five minutes of using it for the first time. To-date we have corrected approx 35 doors both interrir/exterrior since purchase and we could not be happier.

I tried to like it but it simply won't solve the problems.
This product simply DOES NOT WORK.Step 1 is to slip the tool over the hinge. Easy enough. Now what though? You're supposed to just pull or push on the hinge until it magically clears up the problem of the door hinge binding, or maybe tilts the door enough in one direction to make it close more easily. Guess what? It won't work.I purchased this tool because I'm a locksmith here in Texas and I get constant requests from customers to fix their door alignments. This looked like a product worth trying. I have used it in my own home and on two different rental units. All it will do is bend the hinge. That won't change the door alignment as they claim. If you want to realign the door, try tightening the screws on the hinge itself. Often those are loose, and can create door sagging. Also some contractors use cheap 2 inch screws, when they really need longer 3-4 inch screws to tighten the door jamb down onto the frame itself.Don't waste your money on this product though. If you think I'm wrong, try doing what this claims with a pair of pliers and see if that works before putting down $100 on a tool like this one.

great tool
yes!I originally purchased the EZ-Shim, Inc. HS350BP Quick Align Hinge Shim to adjust my doors. Installed two on the bottom hinge and one in the center hinge the shims only pushed the bottom of the door closer to the jamb; close but not good enough. Without cutting away the door jamb to sink the top hinge in, the shims are only half of the job.Enter the Hinge Doctor. What a great tool! This tool is much better than locking pliers because the the ends are formed are designed to to wrap around the hinge and place pressure directly on the bend; pliers can't do that and you may end up with a more rounded bend

Very good!!!!
This is the perfect tool for adjusting residential door hinges. You do get what you pay for. Just got it today and already fixed 5 doors on my lunch break (working from home). Built very well. It should hold up for years.

Not for heavy hinges
It just isn't strong enough to tweak an entry door hinge. The aluminum began to distort when force was applied. It may work for an interior hinge that isn't as strong. It looked like it should work though but just not for the door I needed to adjust.

it works!
after replacing the door frame hinge screws with 3 inch ones and then using this tool to realign the door hinges, my door now closes.

Works only with standard-duty (thin) residential hinges
The HA2 seems well made, but while it's designed for residential hinges the two ends are not large enough for heavy duty residential hinges. My primary use is in adjusting 4" ball bearing residential hinges which have barrels that are about 0.550" diameter. The largest opening on the HA2 is 0.515" diameter. Even with heavy duty 3.5" hinges the largest opening is still too small.I am returning the tool.
