I rarely write reviews, however I feel compelled to warn others of this product, which I deem unfit for purpose. After assembling the grass trimmer (easy enough, only 1 screw) I then proceeded to trim the edge of my lawn. After literally 1m the line disappeared into the cartridge. Following the instructions, I reset the line, whereupon I managed another metre before the line disappeared again. This occurred over and over again until I gave up. What used to take 5 minutes with my old Bosch trimmer took 40 minutes, and it still isn't finished. By far the most frustratingly and poorly designed tool I have ever come across. This appeared to be a relatively inexpensive unit, however falls into the class of 'cheap'. You certainly get less than you pay for. No faults with Amazon service however.

I bought this strimmer 6 weeks ago. My last strimmer was a Black & Decker and has been very good, however I have not yet managed to actually trim my grass edges with the new one!!!The nylon line keeps disappearing back into the housing, so I have to stop, unplug it, rewind the nylon line on the spool, re-thread the line, plug it back in, then start again!It malfunctioned so often, I noticed a couple of times I had forgotten to unplug it, very very dangerous.(My own fault I know, but it was a continual cycle of plug in - use - unplug - re thread- plug in etc etc that I had left out the most important step in the process).I can honestly say it has not worked continually for longer than 60 seconds.Today is the third attempt at using it. . . I am now sending it back, while I still have all my fingers! I think it is a total waste of my time and energy.I would like to give it no stars in the ratings, but site will not allow less than 1 in deserved star.

This was supposed to be an autofeed strimmer so the bottom of the strimmer where the plastic strip is your supposed to be able to press on the floor and this feeds the wire out it dosent work! It is quite fiddly to take the base out and feed it through yourself i have pumped and pumped and nothing happened i feel it is a little expensive as i bought it for the pump action feed if id have known it wouldnt pump feed as suggested in the description i'd bought something else... the base head itself is quite small but would be perfect for a small garden wouldnt recommend this product particularly for a large garden and the amount of "faffing" about needed to keep rethreading the wire

I woukd have to say this product works like a boss! For the price it is really good and effective. This grass cutter actually did a fantastic job cutting the grass in my front and back yard (tmwhich were so high). I were amazed how great it done the job! This is why I am gave this product 5 out of 5.First of all look at the price (for only £26). It is electric so make sure you have your extension cable chord and you're good to go 👍For something like this that is so cheap and highly effective in cutting any grass (no matter how high it is), this grass cutter truly deserves the award for outstanding and effective performance.👏I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to budget or looking for something like this which is affordable.There is a video I attached to it as proof of jow really good it is.. take a look😃😀
