This gave new life to my French Press! The nut screw that came with the press was plastic, and eventually broke. I tried using it for a while with the broken nut, but it was incredibly cumbersome. I came across this product, and LOVE that they sell this. I can't understand why they don't provide this metal nut in the first place. It is so much sturdier. Get this, and save yourself the money you would have spent on a new press.

I had a perfectly good Bodum french press that couldn't work because the plastic nut screw had lost its treads. A french press that can't press down is completely useless! I was so happy to find this metal replacement that fit perfectly and saved me from throwing out an otherwise good press.

This needs a better description. This part works great for the filter assembly. I though it was for the handle. I list a handle screw/ nut

I took apart my press and this part must have rolled off and gotten lost. This this fit perfectly and is just what I needed. I have a red, blue and yellow press and didn't know if this part would fit. but it did!

I was surprised to find this little repair part. It saved my coffee press from the scrap heap.

Perfect! Arrived sooner than was told to expect it as it was coming all the way from Ireland. This little thing let me keep using my old Bodum 3-cup French Press. Did not need to buy a new one as it replaces the plastic nut that gets loose when immersed in hot water. Very happy with this purchase!
