Buy it. Good info on arrow and string making, too.
This book seems awesome. I have been playing around with bows for ~20 years, and have learned a few things.Includes good info on making arrows, traditional releases, and strings. Also, for anyone who was wondering, this method involves making a one-piece bow, then cutting it down. So, if the 'Take-Down' aspect is not a selling point for you, stopping partway through the process will leave you with a regular bow.

Well thought out
I bought this as a companion to Nicholas' video series. I've made two bows so far that I shoot at an archery club. They shoot better than some of the $1500 bows people bring in. The instructions are easy to follow and you can have a bow in a mere few hours of light work.

Would recommend.
Interesting. May be more of a hobby bow, but easier to make than an wooden bow. I have just started making my first bow. Can't wait to get it finished, but the book recommends going slow as not to weaken the PVC. Instructions are not real clear on the connection between the various parts. I have to read that a few more times.
