eveco Car WiFi OBD2 for iOS & Android and Windows Scan Tool Auto Diagnostic Scanner Adapter Sensor Code Reader

This product was used on my 2004 Chevy Impala 3.4L. Even with DashCommand app, which I purchased in the AppStore for $9.99, this unit did not provide all PIDs. There is another group of PIDs available for $9.99. However, I did find that I could make reasonable diagnosis on my vehicle without the extra PIDs. The STFT, and LTFT, and 2 oxygen sensor voltages were available. I'm still working with it, but I was also able to download/email the live data to myself. With this, I was able to graph the data onto a spreadsheet and quickly make charts and graphs with Mac Numbers, and or Microsoft Excel. For the price, you can put a lot of powerful data into your hands. Highly recommended for the DIY inclined. This would not be enough in a professional, daily use environment, but will work well for the DIY person who wants more information. This unit does not enable programming of sensor parameters, shifting, fuel ratio, etc. -- at least not with DashCommand... perhaps another software connected with this might allow it... that's more than i know.

Fast Shipping, excellent price, good equipment.Once I came to my senses and realised this unit said "Wireless" not "Bluetooth", took my laptop and connected it just like a wireless network. The "ScanMaster" software that came with it is the best to use with this. It does what a handheld unit does - in SPADES. Watch what your ECM is doing as you go down the road! [Watch the road first, of course].Clears codes, gives running information of engine operations. Would recommend this unit to regular mechanics!

Would not link up with my Android. Returned it with no problems. Ordered a different reader.

I expected a full package. Turns out you have go purchase the application software from a website in the UK. It is not on the CD in the package. I will stick with an all-in-one device.

This things didn't work at all. I returned it after trying just about everything. I was able to connect with my iphone but then could not get any of the apps to recognise it. I bought different one ( OBD2 Scanner Foseal Super Mini Car Code Reader WiFi OBD 2 Wireless OBD2 Adapter OBDII Scan Tool Engine Light Check OBD iPhone Diagnostic Tool With Power Switch ON/OFF for iOS & Android ) and had no issues with it with any apps.Also picked up an extension cable that works well:  Diageng Low Profile Right/Left Angle OBD 2 II Extension with Flat Ribbon Cable 3'/1m

Did not work with any of my Android phones. Not sure if the unit was defective or the description is wrong.

Great tool, it identifies and helps in evaluating the cars needs.
