RUB OFF! Is one of our range of leathers, which can have its top coat 'rubbed off' to reveal the under lying color and create a truly unique two-tone effect. You soak a cloth in acetone liquid (that can be brought from your local hard ware store for very cheap) or nail varnish with acetone in it or you could also use any alcohol cleaner and gently rub off the dark brown top coat surface to reveal the rust brown color underneath. If you find that the dark chocolate suits your project the best you may chose to leave the leather how it is and enjoy the soft silkiness feel this leather has to offer. There are certain projects which you may want some words or design to stick out then this leather is certainly for you. Please have a look at the picture of the book.
