I ordered size 18-24 months for my 17 month old son about 25 pounds and this size fit him good. i was worried it would be too big but it was perfect to me. very fast shipping. ordered on sunday october 30 and arrived in time for trick or treating the very next day. i ordered a different pirate hat for him to wear but he tried on this beanie style hat that came with this outfit and it would have worked. I just wanted him to have the captain style hat. very cute

Pleased with the costume.

So cute! I ordered the 18-24 month size for my average sized 16 month because I didn't know if it would be cold and he'd need to wear something under it. However it was warm enough and he just wore it by itself. The top fit him perfectly so for a 24 month size its a little short. The bottoms the elastic was not tight so they were big around his waist. I just gathered the fabric to the side and put a pony tail band around it and they stayed up just fine. The hat fit well too. He has an average sized head. He looked adorable.

When I opened the costume I realized this package has been opened before and probably either tried on or worn previously. There was dirt on the collar. I didn't realize this until the day of the event for my son so we had to use it. A bit dissapointed for this reason.
