BiOrb 46123.0 Lava Rock with Fire Coral Ornament Aquariums

I put this in my classroom tanks the students love it.

I love this ornament. I purchased a BiOrb for myself for Christmas and fell in love with a particular display I had found online. It took a little longer than it should have to purchase this specific piece because I was being cheap, but once I did, I totally regretted waiting. It is beautiful and perfect and sits nicely in my take. I pull it out along with the tube and filter when it’s time to replace my filter and give it a decent scrub with a designated fishtank toothbrush. It’s easy to clean and my snails love it.Side Note- the items in my tank include:White BiOrb SeafanWhite BiOrb SealilySmall rock (purchased on Amazon, it did need to be filed to smooth out rough edges)2 bags of white aquarium stones purchased from PetSmart1 bag of white seashells purchased from PetSmartA few pieces of clear aquarium glass purchased from AmazonCritters in my tank include:White Opal Male betta1 ghost shrimp (he cleans up the food that my betta doesn’t eat off the bottom of the tank)2 Ivory Mystery Snails (they help clean the algae off the decor and tank walls)

So for those of you who have the same question I did; yes, this is used to cover the top of the biorb filter. There is a hole in the center of this decoration that the bubble tube fits through so the decor sits flat on top of the cover. It does NOT go all the way to the edge of the cover, so you do still see a little bit of it. That’s why I am giving it four stars. It is also a tad bit over priced. It does do a decent job of hiding the filter cover, though, which was my main priority.

I love the rock ornament for our biorb60, inhabited by a baby axolotl. He enjoys hanging out on the filter casing or flat areas of the fake rock.

I had this in my biorb cube. It looked great. I had a beatiful betta that loved his home. He must have been after a daphnia or something, because I found him stuck between the bubbler and the decoration. Unfortunately, I didn't notice in time and he was already gone. I am heartbroken. He was an amazing fish. He would always come say hi to me when I came into my room and loved chasing the laser light. I wanted to warn anyone looking into this decoration, so they can prevent that from happening to them. I'm devastated and feel so guilty for not saving him in time. He didn't deserve that at all. If i ever get another fish, I definitly won't be putting this decision in it. I bought 2 for 2 of my 4 tanks. They will be going in the garbage. Considering I paid over $60 for them, I would like my money back. But I won't risk putting someone else's fish in harm's way. I'd rather lose the money. So before you buy this product, please consider the size of your fish. Mine was a betta, so not too big. Anything bigger than a betta should be ok. Smaller and I'd look at other decorations.

I don’t think I have ever received anything packaged as well as this rock. A box inside of a box inside of bubble wrap inside of a plastic bag and then it was screwed inside of a round hollow container. The rock is perfect and will be the highlight of my little tank.

I was so excited, setting up my tank, getting stuff for my biorb. Ordered this perfect sculpture/ornament. Then it got here. Unlike the picture, there’s no opalescent effect on the pearls, and the base makes the coral kind of at a forward, unnatural angle over the oysters. I could live with the weird angle, but the paint on the oysters and pearls looks like chalk, both underwater and out of the water. Not worth what I paid for it, as a month later I’m back here looking for something else.

Looked great in tank until I took it out to clean the tank for the first time. Just rubbing it with a cloth caused the surface to peel off in places. I’m very disappointed considering the cost of this ornament.

Très beau rocher de bonne qualité de grande dimensions installé dans un aquarium 15 litres Biorb prend beaucoup de place plus adapté dans un aquarium minimum 30 litres pas déçu par la forme et la couleur marron de ce rocher tient bien l’aquarium en trois mois la couleur de ce rocher est tjrs aussi étincelante. À recommander

The Biorb Rock, came in very secure packaging. It's built very well and looks fantastic. Fits in 30l biorb with ease. Would definitely recommend. The fish seem to enjoy the Rock as it has more places to hide.

Artikel kam beschädigt an. Riecht übrigens stark chemisch...werde mir das nicht nochmal kaufen. Habe Rückerstattung beantragt.
