Chronicle Books I Love You the Purplest

This is a sweet little read. The message is that a mother's heart has room to love ALL of her children, and that each child is unique and wonderful.

A must have in any young child's book collection. A loving story of a mother and her 2 children and how she shows them equally her unconditional love for them.

Parents probably have a daunting task of answering sibling's questions comparing themselves with each other. Like who does mother love most? who was best in the task etc. etc. This books narrates discussion of mom with her two sons while on their fishing task. Not very effective in dialogues. Message could have been better achieved by meaningful story telling.Illustrations by Mary Whyte, however, are astonishing which made the book worthwhile.This review is for hardback edition by Chronicle Books (ISBN : 978-0811807180)

great book for Mom's to share with their children!

This was perfect for my boys, not only did they feel connected to the story because they’re also boys but they often fight over who mom loves the most. It was great to have in a story how we love our kids but how we see them in different things and colors.
